I was in the same boat, except a few days ago I finally beat it with Mihawk+Intwawk. You should really try that, it's your best chance. Search for a guide and try it till you get lucky.
There was a guide for Marco (reddit or youtube) and the first 17 stages were really easy, but the last three relied heavily an orbluck; and a max skill Marco would be advised.

Kaku and Lucci for CP9, everyone else is meh. Mr1, Mr2, Mr3, Mr4 and Doublefinger are decent, but you only really need Doublefinger. Prison Mr1 has a better color and both of their cooldowns are relatively short, Mr2 is decent if you don't have a PSY one shot team, Mr3 is kinda dated, if you pull Monet or own any better one turn delayer, he's pretty worthless and Mr4 is great for damage in a single hit rankings if you don't own Log Luffy.

Story QCK Lucci and Slasherdile are probably the best story units so far. Lucci has been an absolute boon in my teams and made farming Monster Chopper and Blackbeard easier, and Slasherdile is just great.

In all honesty, his class requirement makes building a good team pretty difficult unless you have INTvankov/sabo or a monotype team of all free spirits, a class that already has a hard time getting a good team going even on JP. Not to mention, he's the only fortnight that has a pre-emptive 50% hp cut on a midboss.not that his fortnight is very useful anyways

I know I'm going to get shit but if I can improve, than that's all that matters. I've been trying Intkov, but G3 is the only thing that seems to work despite me still having trouble.
Basically I go through 1-5 like bormal, take no hits. I try to keep a good orb on Blamenco or g3 for when Pierre comes so I can one shot him. Issue is I don't always have good orbs to take out the minions in the bg. If 2 of them attack I die after the 50%hp cut. I've resorted to using Sunny on them but I usually save Sunny for Gan Fall's minions. If I get Pierre to 20% I'm fucked.
Than on the last stage I have to have 3 turns of matching orbs on 2/3 of my Dex units. I usually restart stage 2 until I get a meat/tnd slot on Law and Apoo so I can Apoo special, then next turn I can Law and keep restarting if Law doesn't give me good orbs.
Aokiji is too low level to use, and my Doffy's cd is too low to bring him. I've considered switching out Blamenco for GPU and just stalling Pierre and GF.
Exactly how do you guys find this comfy?

For example, Calagara, Apprentace Shanks, they seem to spawn much more frequently than say Ryuma or Laboon.
