The only DLC that really adds anything not in the base game are the character packs for their perk decks, Courier for the really good mods it includes, and you used to want to get one of the ones with explosives but now there's a free one of those so who cares. You kinda have a point re: DW... It was doable in the old system even tho you had to be careful af iirc. DW now really feels much easier... I just carried a bunch of zero infam freeweekers through a DW Slaughterhouse and we had no problems whatsoever. I was the only one with Inspire so there was some amount of running picking people up but only one custody during the whole run and that guy insta-got out with some Confident screaming.

Yeah, Death wish just got a hell lot easier with the skill tree revamp but that's probably because you're not obliged to focus in only one skill tree only anymore. You can have dodge, 30% armor and inspire all in the same build and even save some spare points, back then you couldn't even think of having any of these without wasting points on useless stuff.

Everybody shit-talks Golden Grin, but I like it. If you're in the mood for a big heist (in terms of map size and how long it takes) then it's fun. If you don't like big heists, it won't be. Just be sure to watch a YouTube guide or go to the PD2 wiki to understand how it works otherwise you're going to completely ignore preplanning like 99% of the shitters out there, and then the heist will take literally 40 minutes (if you complete it at all) because you couldn't be arsed to select a better escape or to improve the massive drill.
