For a logarithmic scale, we'd draw a graph where each segment gets increasingly higher values fir the same distance. So first we get a 0-10, then a 10-100 and finally a 100-1000 segment. it works with fire buffed Raw ASS - should work with any good straight sword as well, even in higher NG cycles if the damage is high enough

alternatively, use Bloodring - it allows you to dodge a bit too early and still not get hit

I like these setups:

The pants from the Pontiff Knight Leggings match perfectly with the Sunless Armor. The boots are blue-ish, but they don't clash too much with the rest of the set. The Hard Leather Helm also matches pretty well with the silver parts of the Sunless Armor and Gauntlets. You can also replace the Hard Leather Helm with something like the Lothric Knight Helm. That one matches pretty well.
Other than that, try mixing up various knight sets with Dancer's Armor. That's a nice, feminine piece that matches with plenty of different sets.

Lead them out of the church and into the courtyard. As you head closer to the lantern, they'll stop following you. Let them go away for a bit, then aggro one of them with a bullet or a pebble and focus on killing them one at a time.
For the claw guy, just stunlock or parry him. He's really easy on his own.
For the cane guy, make sure to be wary of his range when in whip mode. The whip has a bit of a longer startup than most weapons, which makes it easy to parry. Make sure to pay close attention to him because he likes to mix things up by using the Tiny Tonitrus. That thing hits really hard.
As for the cannon guy, be really aggressive against him when he's using the trick mode of his rifle spear. When he's got the cannon out, be very careful. That thing can kill you in one hit and it comes out very fast.
Basically, the trick is to just aggro one at a time when you can. It's very difficult to focus on two, let alone all three.

They aren't exactly speedy, it's basically what the Evangelists use when they're cleansing your curse. The bleed buildup is a monstrosity however, and it's not uncommon to trigger it instantly from one blast on mobs. If you can somehow land a hit of this thing(usually in scenarios when the target is focused on something else), it'll really fuck them up

Invasions were supposed to fuck with the host, hence why in Dark Souls 1 you could lower and raise more gates and switches.
Now in 3, you've got a lot of hosts travelling in gank squads so the best you can do is try to waste their time and take them on an involuntary tour of the area.
Some invaders just want to keep wasting your time even when they get matched up with a decent 1v1.

Raw Astora Straight Sword is pretty strong for it's low stats and can be buffed. You get Magic Weapon really early so you can use that for the few fire resistant bosses until you get Dark Weapon and your pyro stats should let you use them no problem. Otherwise it's fire weapon and Great Chaos Fire Orb all day.
