It doesn't look that bad (at higher MMR, anyway). Seagull's streaming PTR ranked matches solo Qing and he's always had someone pick support and tank, if not double support/double tank.
If anything, support mains will continue to do so because winning is actually important in ranked.

As fat as i understand that Anon he means your character transfers your damage actively taken in 10 seconds to the marked enemy. That means the enemy team just has to avoid attacking him.

Take that chainsaw chick someone posted before, you could easily think of a balanced powerset for her based around jumping into groups.
Left Click, Chainsaw, melee attack, cleaves meh single-target damage, good area damage.
Shift, only works when targeting a player in range, she jumps at them, slamming both chainsaws in for good damage.
E, drops a hook in the ground that hooks herself and one (possibly two) enemies within melee range to the hook
Q, Increased attack speed and upgraded passive for a few seconds
Passive: When she deals damage she gains shields based on the damage dealt that burn out quickly. 1v1 they aren't worth shit, but if she's able to rip into a group (or has her Q active) she can be a tank. Her Q makes it generate temp armor instead of temp shields.
If they really want to, they can make her V throw a chainsaw with really shit accuracy and long cooldown between throws.
She'd bemostly shitand solely exist to disrupt tight formations.

to put it simply, yea, a lower tickrate means the inputs basically "lag". it's why there are GAME BREAKING ISSUES like the ones that revolve around roadhog's hook.
there are enough reasons to hate on overwatch but it's all to do with blizzard's incompetence and/or complacency due to the drone-like fanbase they've acquired. overwatch is a well made game, with glaring problems that are "acceptable" or just flat-out unknown to casual players, because blizzard know they can get away with it.
I'm hoping that this support sniper has a smoke grenade. Its an interesting way to deal with turrets/enemy widowmakers outside of reinhardt shield and could lead to some interesting maneuvers. Kinda disgusting with hero stacking though.
So Seagull just uploaded a new Genji video and in this video he's always with his team. The most "flanking" he does is go after the sniper. The rest of the time he's right there where his team is and contributes.

Here are problems with low tickrate:
1. It accentuates lag, so if your ping rises by like 50ms with 20 tickrate, it's a lot more unforgiving than 80 tickrate
2. It causes massive problems with certain abilities, like Roadhog's hook, sometimes even Junkrat or Pharah's primaries too, because they do a lot more damage on impact and on your screen you aren't hit, but you die anyway. Hanzo too.
3. It can fuck over input (accentuated by lag especially), like when you're trying to bunnyhop with Lucio it's not just harder with 20 tickrate, but it's less consistent.
Most of all though, it's inexcusable and the only reason it's low is because it's cheaper. Blizzdrones don't give a shit about Blizzard gimping their games because they're the kind of idiots who just think anyone who criticises the game are just bad. And those are the people who win.

Sometimes you join a match in the middle and end up carrying your team to a win, it's kinda sad if it doesn't count

If we have a Mercy and Rein already and it's a map with a payload to push, I'll give them a chance. Usually I'll leave after the first minute if the Bastion doesn't have ult yet or is dead as much as he's alive.
Personal pet peeves for team picks are the first four people instalocking non-support/tank heroes and just expect the last two players to pick them. Fuck you, I'm just going to pick Roadhog and heal myself.
Torb/Sym on attack is nearly always a leave for me now. I've seen good Torbs use their weapon effectively, but they're so few and far between I don't bother anymore. Sym should be obvious, half the time they even manage to get a TP it's always destroyed instantly or placed so far away (to not get destroyed) there's almost no point to it.
Double Genji is always an instant leave. Good Genjis are hard to find, let alone two.
If anyone picks Hanzo/Widow on attack and aren't on fire in the first minute and don't switch, I'll usually leave. May as well be playing 4/5v6 at that point.

torb is one of those characters where if you can't shut him down early he's a fucking monster. His ult is just way too good and because his perfect-aim turrets usually get at least 1 point of damage on everyone he gets a billion eliminations which feed his ult like crazy.

I try to change heroes according to team composition and enemy composition, generally playing tanks (rein, zarya, dva/winston from time to time), and supports (lucio or mercy). Whenever I do, the team is all over the place, not standing on points, everyone is trying to flank, no one is trying to push
Then I just give up, and next few games, I just go pure Hanzo, or D Va, or junkrat and just go for kills and fun. And the team carries me. What is going on
