For the most part, I kind of feel rather weakly towards 3's NPCs (collectively I think they're my least favorite set in the series). Some of the characters have some very unsatisfying ends (Eygon, Orbeck, Sirris, dieing for no real reason, and why would I bother with Irina as a firekeeper?).
Grierat's quest is still interesting, and so is Sirris, though I do wish she didn't just drop dead at the end.

The shockwave stagger on the jump attack was in 2 and was almost immediate, allowing it to combo 2HR2 into jump.
It also had a reliable use for the spin since it couldn't be completely rolled at close range, making it a good wakeup tool for rollcatching.
In 3 the spin is worthless because 1 roll has so many bloated iframes it coves the whole active duration of the spin. The flip can't be comboed into and is even slower than it was in 2, despite 3 being mindless mashy BB action game speed, and can reliably be rollBS'd on reaction

those arrows have homing effect in general, just tried it on composite bow and they made an arc to hit a mob even on normal shot

Holy shit. I just picked up the pharris bow earlier today too. I was close to not even equipping it since it doesn't over take the longbow until like +5 or something.
Pharris used to be much much better than the longbow not sure why the gave it such low damage this time around

If you want to hit all the preferred breakpoints for a quality/Int build or what have you, then you're gonna end up at an extraordinarily high SL, is all I'm saying.

Personally I didn't care for Bloodborne because it was too fast paced for me, but that doesn't make it the hardest. Though Souls has been unbalanced as fuck since 2. I think in soem ways 3 has more of challenge then 2. At least in PVE. PVP never fucking works well.
You might just be complaining for the sake of it, if you had a brain you'd enjoy what garbage we have of the Souls series or stick to Bloodborne and have fun since they actually seemed to kind of care about that one.

I still wouldn't recommend it. It would take way too long for the final result to be worth it.
SL isn't just about pvp. Anything higher than, say, 150 is a fucking chore and if your build requires that much or greater, then you're in it for the long haul.
