There's a cap on Artifact EXP, and artifact traits will work in PvP, arena and world. Same with legendary items, get lucky. You'll have to decide between upgrading your offspec by 80% or your main spec by 10%. Hope you don't want to play a different spec while gunning for realm firsts, and better hope you pick the right spec or you'll be weaker than everyone who picked the right one.

It costs about 5million artifact power to max out an artifact (except for the dump trait.) and the first three dump points are about 5million artifact power in total.

What does wowg think of the Artifact Weapon system?I'm pretty new to WoW, but it seems to me that mythic raiding and grabbing those hard to get weapons from mythic raids should be the end game weapons, not something you get at 101. As of right now on Beta, the DPS Demon Hunter has crazy sustain issues. The only way to heal is from some RNG soul shard drops, and they drop way out of the way, so you have to run over to them. In PvP it fucking never happens and you just die to everyone.
The tank spec is amazing though, but so are all the other tank specs right now.

Oh, I actually did some research as to why people weren't happy with Sub right now. It's bugged in the latest patch, Shadowstrike and Backstab's damage have been swapped for some reason. Shadowstrike is supposed to do more from stealth and Backstab is supposed to do more outside of stealth, but they're swapped right now so they have no damage outside of stealth.

An astounding amount of people pick Hunter as their first class because it's rather simple, straightforward, and eventually your pet just tanks everything for you and you never have to worry about fucking anything.
Race determines what racials your character has, what starrting zone you start off in, in unique cases there are some race-specific items, etc. But generally only the racials matter as far as actual gameplay goes, the rest is aesthetic personal preference so look into racial abilities if that matters to you.
Faction matters in that races of opposing factions cannot speak with one another at all and are generally enemies, and of course both factions for the most part have entirely different quests, of course can only walk around in faction-specific towns and all of that stuff. So say you play an Orc, you sure as shit can't hang around Stormwind City, you'll just get jumped by guards and you instantly get flagged for PvP when you're in a zone that you aren't permitted to be in because of your race/faction. Likewise, if you're a human and you walk into Orgrimmar (The Horde's capital city) or any other Horde town, exact same thing.I haven't played WoW in a while, I'm genuinely happy for you, getting into it, just because I wish I could relive my first days too, even though that was nearly a decade ago and the game is vastly different now. The white mouse in a Corsair M95, which I have right now and love the button layout of.
I used to have a Razer Naga in like, Cata-era, I loved the ergonomics it had, whith the interchangable grips, but the button layout was shit and the buttons themselves were all mushy, they did away with the interchangable grips in later models, which was the best thing about the nagam and in general it just felt kinda cheap.
The Corsair on the other had has shitty ergonomics and it took like a year to get used to the weird shape, but the buttons layout is far better and they whole thing is built like a tank.

Corsair is actually good though, like 50% of my PC is Corsair parts and those parts are notably the stuff I haven't had to replace or repair yet. They Keyboard lights on my mechanical keyboard started dying within a few months, but I don't really give a shit about that and two a half years later it's still working just fine.
I used one single Razer peripheral, that Naga mouse back in like 2011, and never again. Whenever I replace my current rig I will probably build the new rig out of mostly Corsair parts again, because literally every corsair part I bought is still doing its job after two years of hard high stress use.

it's not that I necessarily need a ton of buttons or prefer Razer as a brand, I just need them in a way that they aren't arranged like dog shit. Every "gaming" mouse I've owned has these flush, streamlined, odd shaped buttons on the side that just don't feel good to press, especially if you're trying to do multiple moves in quick succession. The Naga just always comes to mind because from the looks the extra buttons seem functional instead of cool looking.

I'm currently using some Roccat cheapo where the glue holding the pads on the side is literally oozing out and onto my fingers so as long as it performs like any other respectable $60 mouse it's got enough for me. Most of my WoW career I played on a $5 wireless and topped the DPS in my guild raid group so I'm not terribly picky. like i said, it's all about them side buttons for me

You should be able to use QuickSync to encode your stream, effectively eliminating like 90% of the load allowing you to smoothly capture at 60FPS in 1080p.
It gets the job done but quality isn't the best.

more or less the same as most people, the issue is that my fingers are real long so pressing buttons towards the back of the mouse is awkward for me, but buttons toward the front are usually much easier. my current mouse I can only effectively use the front side button. if i bind something to the back one I end up tripping over my own fingers and end up sucking worse.
