FP is only used for friend point draws, so yes. Most people will advise you to reroll for a legend so you wont regret it later, but see if you like the game first before you do so you dont burn out. Spending extra crystals on the purchased penguin matches is a great idea for leveling your units fast, matching the colors to the players gives 1.5x more xp.
