Interested in the game cause I love cyberpunk, but feeling a bit reluctant with indie games lately. How does the game do performance-wise? Any major bugs or flaws? Where did you buy it off? As for the instructions, yeah usually.
A customer will either :
- ask for an exact drink (give them what they want)
or
- ask for a kind of drink (bitter, sweet, salty, whatever), which you can then pick whatever you want and hope it matches
Beyond that, you can make some drinks more alcoholic or twice the size to get them hammered (which matters some of the time but not usually).

I don't understand how people have trouble with the drink mixing. The controls are laid out super clearly and honestly it's just tedium at this point since I just wanna keep talking to the characters but have to stop and do babby puzzles all the time.

Add the ingredients, press ice, and then press mix, let it go for a 5 count and then click stop.

Make sure you're not letting it mix too long. Letting it go for around five seconds is the limit for a mixed drink, after that when the shaker speeds up it's considered a blended drink.
It's best to just instantly stop mixing a mixed drink. It doesn't even need to mix for a full second. Only a blended drink needs to go until the shaker speeds up.

As for the booze, it changes how some scenes happen. At the beginning, you can hyperbooze the glasses bitch that Boss brought to the bar and knock her out again, and Gil has to put her in a cab and send her home. If you don't, she stays awake and complains about more shit and leaves on her own.
I always go for 100% booze to kill these niggas.
Is there some way of instantly transferring stuff into the mixer? I'm playing on a laptop without a mouse and dragging stuff with a touchpad is really annoying.

As far as I know, it is possible. What you have to do is:
1. Always speedrun the drink-making process. Know what the person wants, and make it as quickly as possible. Keyboard shortcuts definitely help speed this up. The faster you go, the higher your tips will be. I can consistently get $1300 in tips on the first few nights.
2. On any night you can get a flawless service bonus, do so. I don't know for sure, but I think this is like Papers Please where you cannot get all of the perfect service bonuses and get the best ending.

What I really feel the issue is that NG+ offers no new dialogue I know of past other endings and getting certain drink choices different. I'm holding ctrl here because there's nothing new to learn about the characters like I expected from NG+. Missed an opportunity to really add a lot of character detail.

For me it was the buildup. Ingram has someone roleplay his daughter once a year, and you casually find out later its Dorothy and there is no further information and it serves no purpose. The little things like that just pissed me off in the end. I paid attention to everything everyone says for no reason. This VN only has the common route, and makes pretend there are real routes, but there aren't and you just keep getting baited into thinking things will develop further. Is it wrong to want another chapter for each ending outside the basic one? Or new content in NG+? Anything to reward finding the other endings?

That's the point, the game itself just uses the waifu tagline as a buzzword but aside from "Girls are present in the game and you may come to give a fuck about them" there is nothing "waifu" about it. Especially when the game barely focuses on them more than just to basically introduce them and make you barely care about them.
I'm not sure if at one point they actually did having something more planned before they switched the protag from Gillian to Jill, or if they really just used it to bait people into caring about the game before they understood the scope of the product.
Even if you say "It's a waifu game because you grow to care about the character" most of the focus of the game is actually not even on them, but rather Jill so that doesn't fly.

I like it. The 4chan-ish board Jill visits isn't something I'm all that into, but the rest of the game feels smooth. It's a nice change of pace, internet memes aside.
I just wish there were... I dunno, more to it. Like either some sorta dating component or just a longer story with more to do at home between days. It's understandable why that wasn't possible though, considering budget and whatever extenuating circumstances may have come up.

I think what the game does well, it does very well. The aesthetics and the music mesh really well to paint the cyberpunk setting, and while the bartending itself isn't anything to write home about, they way it enables you to build connections and become familiar with your regulars really mirrors the experience I had making drinks as a barista, so that aspect was really well-done. I also thought the way the game puts you at the edges of the story's action, instead of at the middle, was especially interesting, and I hope to see some more games take this approach going forward.
