With enough work and leveling multiple characters you can get the perks on anyone rendering it purely cosmetic, but it takes a lot of work.

It depends on what type of playing you like to prefer, but either way Meg and Claudette are the top two.

So usually, it goes
Meg/Claudette ---> Jake ---> Dwight
Go with Meg then Claud if you have trouble escaping baddies, and Claud then Meg if you can disappear fine enough.
Dwight does have the POTENTIAL to be devastating, if there are multiple with the perk that speeds up gennies. But due to the nature of the game, this is almost never the case.

Killer is only easy if the survivors aren't of a similar mind. If they run in single file to save a hooked person, killer wins. If they all show up at once and once distracts while the others unhook and heal the guy, then you have trouble on your hands as a killer.

Has anyone else played with this killer? I've had three matches with him so far, two of which were in a row. Basically, he's some shitty rank 20 with a bunch of ultra rare perks and items, and rq's within the first few minutes every match. So apparently bodyblocking is a real thing.
Just saw a match where a Rank 1 Killer hooked a survivor on Wraith, then just ding dong ding dong'd over and over while standing right on top of the body. Survivors ran up to him, and he didn't do anything to defend the body, he just stood there ringing his bell over and over and no one could physically get to the body to even attempt to pull them off the hook.
I get that by him doing this, it means the other three can get generators online, but it's still pretty fucking shitty that you can't even physically get to the body.

You have a way to escape if the killer is camping the hatch - power the remaining generators. It's quite easy when he's camping, doubly so if you're smart enough to only mostly power the remaining generators and then rapidly finish them. Then, one the doors are powered, you can make for the doors or go for the hatch if he leaves it.

Being able to camp hooks is shitty, but it's also shitty play that results in a competent team winning in spite of the death of the victim.
Being able to body block the basement is fine, that's the primary advantage of the basement over other hooking locations. Maybe it should be widened a bit so it's possible with the right movement to get past, but it's fine as it is now.
Being able to bodyblock the hatch is meaningless because there are other ways to escape. If anything the hatch is overpowered in the survivors' favour and bodyblocking it is perfectly fair.

No, it's nonsense. I just had a game where the killer hooked someone in the basement almost immediately and wouldn't leave. Someone came to save him and was downed as well, just in time for him to die. And then another came for that one. 3 dead in a few minutes, and I had powered 2 generators just as the last died. The hatch spawned right next to the second generator, and I jumped in. Lost a rank. The only way to get a good score and rank up in this situation would have been to refuse to leave and instead play with the killer.

That's my point. It's stupid that you have to drag on the game and farm points to rank up or get experience points. You should get enough of a boost for survival for that stuff to not be essential, just a bonus. Some people would just sit in a corner sucking their own dick if they could get enough points by doing the most minimal work and then escaping. Hence the 10k and why they nerfed the amount of points slightly since beta. In beta I got three gens adn was good, didn't have to do anything else. Now you have to do considerably more than that.
Maybe I'm not the most objective on the matter as I have Saboteur and can get a easy 1600(roughly) points whenever I want. It doesn't give a visual queue and most other people don't have the perk so hooks will always be available.

When you get most of the generators down, the killer only has to patrol a few. When you power them to 90-95% and then leave them, even at the end of the match when each generator can be powered in seconds he is forced to patrol the entire map because every generator is still broken.

So that you can do it in rapid succession. You know when there's only a genny left and the killer just bounces between the three, making it impossible to work on them? Getting them to 90% makes it possible to just run around tagging them once they are all set up, circumventing the problem.
One of the reasons people don't want a party system is because this would become commonplace.

When there are 5 almost working gens around the map, there's no possible way to stop the survivors from tagging them left and right. Even if you do deduce where the last one is somehow, you'd have to keep your eyes on it 24/7 to prevent a touch, which they would be fixing the other two gennies with. And if you go patrol the other two gennies, that one gets tagged. Of course, that unlikely dilemma is once again removed if EVERY genny is nearly working rather than only 5.
It's ingenious, but requires coordination. Sometimes all you need to do is request it in chat before a match. It's a complete win once you decide to start tagging them all.
Is Wraith buggier than the other killers or something? This is almost three games in a row where I did something and then got frozen in place with no choice but to leave the game. Twice when I was picking somebody up, once when I was vaulting. This has never happened to me with the other killers.

I killed my first cheater a few moments ago.
Little bitch was jumping through windows for like 5 minutes. I eventually pretended to leave and successfully got a hit in while the fucker jumped through a window. Fell for it twice.
The second meg hits the floor she disconnected.
I got one on a hook within a minute into the game.
And one of them actually bled out because the team was effectively useless.
And for my final act, I looked around for closets with crows on them, and sure enough there they were. Finally hooked for the entity.
Just a reminder, cheating doesn't automatically make you good. It just makes you look like a piece of shit.
