What exactly are the requirements to have your star rating on the Main page go up anyway? I thought you earned stars for limit breaking weapons in your pool, but as SS I have 29 stars and just over 60k but as WM I have 30 stars and over 70k with exactly the same pool.
So does that mean your star rating goes up based on your overall stats rather than the amount of stars in your weapon pool? If so, at how many stats does it tick over from 29-30 stars? 65k? 70k?

I've been doing all that but I'm starting to get to the point where I'm only barely beating main story quests. The quests are getting tougher and outside of maybe upgrading a weapon occasionally, I'm not getting stronger.

There's enough people to do things with and get good with, you just have to talk to them.

Pre 25k you've got better than 1:1 odds even on an 8, given that if you say, pick high and roll an ace you've quadrupled your money instead of doubled it, given that you can't lose the next round with an ace. And a king is likewise a very large chance of winning the next round, etc.
So it's only really a good idea to bail if you have an 8 and going to hit maximum bet with the next win. Otherwise, go all in.

Once you start progressing a little, you will be able to host your own hard, very hard, and magna raids. When you host, you are guarenteed a red chest, which has a much higher chance of something worthwhile, and you get a bonus if you MVP.
If you get desperate, you can trade for weapons in the shop, but I would recommend saving your renown for SSR magna weapons.
