Where's the rest of the root folder? I'm pretty sure an "An error has ocurred etc etc" from menuhax happens when you don't have the menuhax payload (e.g. ropbinpayload_menuhax_USA12288_old3ds.bin). Did you remove it?

No problem. Even if you don't want to go to A9LH yet, that payload is pretty reliable, if you compare to the 2.5 one which fails 1/3 of times.
On a quick look, Launcher.dat is gateway bullshit. ncchinfo.bin is for generating xorpad from a random game, screenshots_raw.bin is from >HANS, so you can safely trash these, and of course, the rxTools folder which is almost 20MBs of garbage.
If you follow the A9LH guide, once you're done you can look at a pic that shows exactly what are the essential things to keep.

Apparently whenever I try to install .cia files via FBI, the installed size is different from the actual size so it never ever completes. Should I switch to another source of downloading .cia files? It worked just fine before...
Try updating from 10.5 to the newest firmware on my emunand. I updated as usual but I got an error and had to restart. When I restarted it said I was on the newest firmware. Am I good to go? Is there an update integrity checker? Should I use my recent back up and update again?

I’m having issues moving saves with secure values from Gateway .3ds games to .cia installed ones on Luma
Using SaveDataFiler I tried deleting the secure value and importing but SSB always claims it's corrupt.
Hey /hbg/, I have a softmodded PSP and one of these things with games on it. I have two SD cards inserted into it but it only seems to be able to read from one at a time. If I have them both plugged in it will read from the one inserted in the first slot, if I remove the first one it will read from the second slot, but not both at the same time. Am I doing something wrong or is this how it's supposed to work?

Yo, so I recently installed a9lh on my 3DS which already had emuNAND previously installed so I began the Plai's guide on Part 4.
Now I'm doing this for a friend and his is a virgin 3DS and I see that it's recommended I format the 3DS before downgrading... But, the guide also says that we should end up with all of our previously installed shit like nothing happened but in no part of the guide are we making NAND backups before the first downgrade.
So my question is, just how risky is it to downgrade without formatting first? I'm thinking fuck it because it only seems to apply to ambassadors and DSIware shit and the guide says VERY SMALL chance of it happening.

It worked. The instructions for the battery-wireless switching are weird, but I think what kept fuckign me up was that I had the charger plugged in. After I took it off, I tried the battery method again, and the wireless switch was on.

Has anyone got Monster Hunter X running on an original 3DS on 9.2? I installed what was supposed to be a prepatched CIA and the game failed to start and gave me a generic error. (I installed it to emunand through fbi over my wireless network) It seemed like maybe I needed a separate 1.2 patch for it to work, so I tried just installing the cia for the patch and it there was no change. I thought maybe the region restriction hadn't been removed but I couldn't figure out how to remove the region lock on installed games so that was another dead end. I'm sure I fucked up somehow, does anyone know what I could have done wrong? I can provide any more information that's needed.

There's a download for the game cia + patch cia in the pastebin. Anyways, you might not be able to play region locked games on your setup. All I know is that you're running emuNand still, but are you running a CFW with it? If so, then you could try running NTR CFW with it to get region free.

Yeah, that's it. You download it from CIAngel, it'll be like over a hundred small files. Then, go to the DLC store from Smash, and 'redownload' the entire bundle.

Well I just went through Hell finding Witch's Cat. After an hour of searching, I found out it's full name Rabi Labi Gaiden, so it made it a bit easier.
But it's in 3ds format, and I have never tried converting a game from 3DS to CIA. I'm trying it myself, but it seems I need rxtools. I'm still trying to do it, but if someone wants the file to help I'd like that because the game looks cool. The other game is impossible to find, I found the first and third one though

I've installed Rhythm Heaven Megamix with ciangel by introducing Title ID and enc title key. When I try playing it, It stays on the 3DS logo. If I try with HANS, it gives a red screen.

So im playing hyrule, not far in, on easy. mission to escort fi, and two trigger events happen one after the other, destroy two keep invaders marked top middle of map and 10 seconds later my main allied base falls bottom right, whilst fo who i am escorting is at a base fat left of map. if i stay with fi, my base falls, if i run to base , from the check location escorting fi my base falls and if i run to the location of the keep invaders, my base falls. if i restart from check point, im returned to where fi is, escorting, then the keep invader event will trigger. while my main allied base it attacked. this normal? i think my sd card may be fucking up the triggering if events, escorting fi and keep invaders are two different locations of the map yet trigger sequally about ten secknds apart. staying with fi results in defeat, running to the marked location of the invaders results in defeat, running to base results in defeat, all options withing twenty seconds of restarting from check point. level is Skyloft on Easy using zelda/light sword

I've tried HANS on my EUR 3DS and it gives me a red screen.
Currently at Step 1 in Plailect's guide, trying to do the browser exploit, but it keeps crashing at a red screen.
