Sorry
>>145511909
oh course Mahiru is the one that makes the transition seamlessly
>>145511926
>Onii-chan...
>>145512487
This reminds me of that ear sex video.
>>145513136
so what's this about you being paralyzed
I asked you that on /v/ but I never got the story because the mods deleted the thread for some reason
>>145513238I got thrown out of second store of a mall, due to a bad landing, not only several bones broke, but i ended up paralysed for life. But i think its for better for us not to talk too much about it, its kinda off topic and blogshit in nature.
>>145513850
I'll drop the topic if you want, but I'm still somewhat interested in hearing it.
>>145511926
Who's she riding?
>>145511909
Mahiro and Peko are almost flawless. Peko should have ponytail though imo
Akane should be buffer and it'll be ok.
Sonia should be classic ouji-sama model lol, would work better with shorter hair
Others are meh fuccbois I dunno
Post some of your favourite sprites.
So, after everything that happened with E3 I decided to check out the Persona General. That... was an experience.
How are you guys doing over here, /drg?/ Excited for the new animes?
>>145519314
that Nagito sprite, the iconic one you just thought of when I said Nagito sprite
that one where Mahiru's losing her shit
that one where Sayaka's losing her shit
uh
that one with Souda's stupid silly face
pretty much all despair sprites
>>145514000
I have no problems talking about, its just that i am bit afraid that janitors and upset anons may aim for reporting it because its off topic and stuff. Its a rather short story between me and two friends.
Friend A's father some sort of anger issue, if he gets mad, he tends to break stuff, so upon hearing that, Friend B decides to scam the guy, by having said dad play a irritating game and taunting him, it would make him break the laptop, surprisingly, the plan goes well, me and friend B leave the house as soon as he gets angry enough and let A with his dad.
Bad idea, Friend A leaves the house and rendevous with me and B, but he suddenly got greedy all the sudden and tried to run away with 300+ bucks in pocket, me and B give chase, trying to lose us, Friend A goes all the way to a shopping center/mall runs around, due to a tactical fuck up me and Friend B going to second floor of the mall, while Friend A goes to the first floor.
For some unknown reason, Friend B tells me catch A, and suddenly grabs me by the waist, donkey kong style and throws me into A, only to overshoot it, causing me to land in the floor, all busted and shit, i screamed a few insults before passing out.
Then i woke in hospital, and only Friend B and my dad was there, B was sweating and apologizing like crazy, once he told my dad what happened, he went nuclear, a bunch of male nurses entered due to screaming, then a doctor came to me and apologised, then asked why that scuffle happened, after i told the doctor what happened, he went after them, i was worried my dad would be arrested, i tried to move my legs and i couldn't, so i tried to crawl my way out, only to put back into bed by another dude, who restrained me until the doctor returned.
And thats it.

New Persona 5 footage was shown at E3. People were excited for a bit, then went back to blaming people for a delay that they couldn't control and their waifu wars.
...I know you guys wouldn't have any waifu wars, right?
I want to hate-fuck Monaca.
>>145520850
>...I know you guys wouldn't have any waifu wars, right?
We used to have multiple of them. The most vicious one was the Ibuki versus Chiaki wars but Ibukifriends and Chiakifriends realised they were tsundere for each other and accepted the other one's waifu.
>>145519314
I love the one where Junko is making a silly face.
>>145520850
After the Chihirofag vs Togamifag duel, we dont make that much noise
>>145521021
The Mikanfag(s?) and Ibukifags are still going at it, whenever a Mikanfag appear, the Ibukifags appear with their spears, like a bunch of hungry zulus.
I think the one above was the worst one.
>>145519451
>>145520850
I just realized Adachi has a mini-ahoge
>>145521263
I can't believe that Adachi was a protagonist after all.
It's good to hear that things are dying down a bit in the waifu department though. Sort of.

why is blue Monaca in a weelchair...............
>>145525223
I wonder if we'll see some Togami action.
>>145525479
mastermind confirmed
Nagito is the best character in the series and everyone agrees on this.
>>145527446
Nope
>>145525223
I hope to see Togami at some point in Future, and Junko in Despair. I wonder who's the Mastermind in Future, if not some other form of Junko.
The Despair arc is going to have to try pretty hard if it wants me to believe that someone like Nekomaru could end up as Ultimate Despair. Excited for more Impostor.
>>145525223
Why do I get this feeling that they're setting up some Makoto/Chisa/Kyousuke dynamic here......
>>145525479
>>145526424
Too obvious to be Monaca...right?
>>145525558
>>145527651
I'm surprised they've kept the situation with Togami so vague for so long. But I'm assuming he went to Towa City or something. And Junko is definitely going to be in Despair. She's the reason they joined Ultimate Despair in the first place.
anybody up for another game of who the f draws this s
>>145528215
Isn't Chisa like "devoted" to Kyousuke or whatever? Plus Naegi's like four years younger than them.
>>145528897
Never played it, basically pictionary right?
>>145525223
>that Izuru silhouette
I'm guessing it implies he will have long hair during his days at the school? Wanna see how Hajime got his hair that long so quick if that's the case.
>>145529154inb4 "Chisa" is just Makoto's mom in disguise while the real Chisa was killed before the trial.
>>145529421
Maybe someone has a talent that involves hair growth, and it gets put into Izuru's talent stew.
>>145529662
I'd laugh and ask how is that a talent but we have being a princess or a farmer as a talent so I will rule nothing out when it comes to Hope's Peak.
>>145529837
Nobody was laughing at the farmer when he is the only with the talent to make food grow in the post apocalipse.
>>145525558
Togami's situation concerns the identity of the mastermind. That's why there has been no information on Togami or hints pointing to the mastermind.
Togami and the mastermind have a "different" role to play for these events. You will hear nothing on those two until the anime gets to a certain point.
>>145530092
Inb4 AE 2 and Togami replaces toko.
>>145530071
>assuming the soil was still healthy enough for anything.
Despair man. Despair infects everything.
>>145530172
If despair infects everything then how come there are survivors beside Makoto?
Guess forgot some areas unpainted
>>145529837
How is being a farmer not a talent?
>>145530092
So I'm assuming he's not in Towa then?
You'd think that's where he'd be going by what he said at the end of UDG about "repaying his debts" to Toko and Komaru along with the ending of DR2 when Kyoko told him someone's waiting for him to return aka Toko.
Unless something happened before he got to Towa City?
>>145530306
Because Makoto's hope powers saved them?
>>145530315
Do you count making cereal a talent too?
>>145530438
No, because making cereal isn't even 1/100th of what a farmer does you ignorant faggot.
>>145530520
>>145530438
If a cereal maker made sufficiently good cereal it could be a talent, but it would have to be damn good.
>>145529837
While I can understand the princess analogy, I don't see how being a farmer isn't a talent. Growing the best crops requires good insight, knowledge and good techniques which produce good food.
>>145530438
If it's really good cereal, I would consider it.
>>145530631Cereal Killer

>>145531053
If an animal breeder and a cook are considered talented then why not a farmer? Obviously they grow great shit, maybe even being kind of like the animal breeder in knowing how to make great crops genetically speaking. And if they're also an animal farmer that's even more talent they probably have.
>>145531185

>>145532790
I would be okay with not getting end ships, as long as an opposing ship to mine does not get canonized.
>>145532513
Kirigiri is destined to die. It's in her blood. Literally. I can't believe people think they won't kill off the Ultimate Detective in a Mafia killing game.
>>145532790
Well we gotta have some babies popping out if those V3 theories hold any weight.
But mostly I wonder how they're going to handle the epilogue for the conclusion of the Hope's Peak saga.
>>145532985
What's your opposing ships anon?
>>145532985
>>145533010
I am pretty much the arch enemy of the Fujofag, i dont like shipping and i would like to see all ships sink.
>>145533104
I just want to live in a world where I can at least pretend that Naegi and Kirigiri got together. So I don't want either of them to hook up with anyone else. Or die.
>>145533010
I'm calling it now, Kirigiri is the killer. She's being blackmailed by the mastermind into killing everyone. And she can't kill herself because then everyone else will die somehow if she does.
>>145533291
Who do you THINK would be their alternatives on who they hook up with?
Well unlike Naegi, Kirigiri doesn't have a lot of options.
>>145533307
That would be a pretty crazy twist if done right. Could be good or bad. I mean they have to do something with Kirigiri for DR3 right?
>>145532848
>>145532921
Oh the samefagging shitposter is back again.
>>145533604
Naegi's alternate is Chisa. Kirigiri's alternate is death.
I don't know if either of these are actually likely but the thread is scaring me.
>>145533924
>Naegi's alternate is Chisa. Kirigiri's alternate is death.
I get Kirigiri's alternative but where does it point to Chisa for Naegi?
Plus she's like four years older than the guy.
>>145534159
I don't know, just >>145528215
I guess it doesn't actually make much sense for him to end up with Chisa, though.
>>145534159
You make it seem like she's 45 or something.
It's only a four year gap.
They're both in their early to mid twenties.
>>145534337
You're probably worried about this huh
>>145534604
Kind of. But thinking on it, it is probably just supposed to represent the fact that though she is devoted to Kyosuke she believes Makoto is in the right for the purposes of the trial, and so is torn.
>>145534452
When you're an adult, 4 years is a pretty insignificant gap.
>>145534604
That white haired faggot is gonna get his teeth kicked in.
>>145534802
It's probably this. Chisa is supposed to be some kind woman or something. So clearly she wouldn't want any fighting among her comrades.
>>145535107
Yeah Makoto's gonna get his teeth kicked in big time. Kyosuke don't have time for this kumbaya bullshit.
>>145535008
It really is. 4 years is nothing especially when you're 20 years and above. Makoto's like 19-20 meaning Chisa's 23-24. It's really nothing.
>>145534604
You know if white hair kicks the bucket who else hes gonna have his corpse presented in some "Blind Justice" kind of thing? I feel like it would fit him.
>>145536086
Well since he isn't going to die it's not gonna matter now is it?
Chisa is the one most likely dying. Probably in some cheesy sacrificial way.
>>145536219
Is there any confirmation hes not gonna die? Havent kept with all the links and news.
>>145536293
I'm just going off of some common sense here and patterns going by what we know of them so far from their bios and merchandise
Kyosuke/Chisa/Juzo are obviously being played up as the important DR3 trio to DR1's Makoto/Kyoko/Byakuya trio and DR2's Hajime/Chiaki/Nagito.
Juzo's name is written using the kanji for thirteen which by belief of some westies and japs, mean "misfortune". So Juzo is probably going to be the first of the trio to die which would be the first string pulled inside of Kyosuke's "inner self." Then if this is really all to develop and make Kyosuke "see the Naegi light" then Chisa would be next to go.
What happened to everyone?
>>145539718
I HAVE BEEN WONDERING THE SAME THING, DEAR ATHLETE!! WHERE HAVE OUR BELOVED TEAMMATES GONE?!

Here's what might be an unpopular opinion: I really like that there was never a way to "fix" Mikan just by talking and being nice to her. It would've been real easy, particularly in Island Mode, to just make her the "all I needed was a protagonist to talk to me three or four times and I'm no longer fucked up" character. I like that her FTEs end with Hajime basically giving up and saying "well... it's not entirely your fault, Mikan."
>>145555534
>>145555555
>>145555646
nice try
>>145554908
D'awww
>>145555534
"Being shitty to people can permanently wreck their life and in turn your life" seems to be a running theme in the game.
>>145556568
Hmm, who else are you thinking about with that
>>145556862
Not him, but Toko became a serial killer from someone being an utter cunt to her. Syo killed the guy.
>>145556862
>>145556964
>>145557179
I don't for one second blame a little kid on Toko becoming a serial killer. The kid wasn't being "shitty", he was being a kid. Toko was going to be Toko no matter what; she'd just find someone else to blame it on.
>>145557260
What happened is beyond being a kid
And it's because of retard fucks like you that fucking bullies are allowed to roam free
"ignore it" "it's just kids being kids"
My fucking ass
Those excuses don't change the victim's suffering
>>145557412
it's so much lower than just being a kid; all the kid did was pin her confession note to the wall. I've had shittier things happen to me, and you have to unless you've led a top tier life so far. Toko's the bully for killing him over it.
>>145557505
Technically that was Syo.
>>145556862
The warriors of hope, the backstories of several SDR2 characters (off the top of my head: Akane, Saionji, Hinata/ Izuru)
>>145557592
So we can blame a little kid but not Toko for Syo?
>>145557771
You really can't blame a person for their alternate personalities.
>>145557771
Toko just needs to loose consciousnesses, for we all know she just went to sleep and Syo acted out on Toko's repressed feelings of anger.
>>145536914
>DR2's Hajime/Chiaki/Nagito
You know two out of three of them died right
>>145557505
And that led to massive bullying and teasing
For a girl like Toko, that was hell on earth
The kid knew what would happen if he did that.
Toko would become the nail sticking that the school's society would hammer down through bullying
That's how japanese society works.
Once a person sticks out for something and doesn't fit into the social norm, they become a target of hate by a lot of people
>>145557934
That's the biggest and worst excuse ever. She was humiliated, big fucking whoop, it happens in life. You're implicitly saying there was something inherently fucked up with her when you say "for a girl like Toko . . . the kid knew what would happen if he did that." At a certain point it's not the kid's fault at all. Toko wasn't going to lead a life completely free of conflict and embarrassment.
>>145558107
>justfying bullying
>implying bullies deserve to live
Kill yourself, jackass
And what I'm implying is that Toko is a shy and introverted girl who couldn't take it. I already had a hard time in school when I was bullied by just 5 jackasses. I can't imagine how bad it would've been if it was my entire class (like these things usally work in Japan)
>>145557934
>>145558107
The discussion about whether mentally unstable people can be held accountable for their own actions has been held a thousand times and never before resulted in a definitive answer.
The law says those unsound of mind are not at fault.
What this discussion breaks down too is how bad is bullying in japan. I looked up articles and discussion and apparently bullying in japan is on a whole other level to what you would see here in the west.
There are so many topics and movies featuring the consequences of bullying and how crazy it can make people from them which makes me think they got years of material to work with.
And from google searches there is just constant articles breaking down what is going on. Graphs, awareness campaigns, ect.
>>145558390
Don't tell people to kill themselves. We as victims are supposed to be better people than the ones who tormented us.
>>145558390
Toko's the bully for killing him. This happened in, what, elementary school? I don't sympathize with you at all if you think somebody should die because they made fun of somebody else as a kid.
>>145558442
The point is Toko was always going to be Toko, a mentally fucked up person. She was always going to suffer some type of perceived slight and blame everything on the "perpetrator".
>>145558690
Saying that someone was going to be insane no matter what would happen in their life is a bit of a stretch if you consider how bad Toko had it, don't you think?
>>145558897
Au contraire, I think it's the opposite. Toko is so insane that I think it's a stretch to believe that this all hatched just from the tiny incident she blames. Not only do I think Toko would still be crazy but-for the little kid, she'd still be Genocider Syo.
>>145558531
i read that bullying in Japan is so bad that there's always an spike in suicides in september 1 because of victims not wanting to return to school only to keep facing bullying
Shit's fucked up
>>145558690
The issue is more serious than you think
You've got no idea of how bad bullying in japan is if you talk like that.
It's not one kid making fun of the resident shy girl. It's one kid making her chilhood a living nightmare through the group bullying that's so common in japan
>>145559029
>tiny incident
Confirmed for speaking without knowing
Inform yourself of how bullying in japan goes
I doubt it was a tiny incident at all
>>145559095
Here you go with bullying again. Toko's the bully for killing him. Pinning a confession note to a wall is a tiny incident.
>>145511365
Does anyone have the version of the OP image with all the other characters? Can't find a high quality one without a watermark
>>145558897
Insanity also has a lot to do with brain chemistry. While the particulars might be changed via trauma, some level of insanity can be considered biologically predetermined.
>>145559183
Sometimes bullying can just be a constant string of tiny incidents though. That one just happened to get the spice flowing.
>>145559183
The first of probably several ensuing incidents though. I've had bullies use a single incident as an excuse to bully me for years.
>>145559292
I'm surprised you guys keep defending this. He pinned a confession note to a wall and she killed him and, she claims, multiple other innocent people over it. You've seen Toko in two games and you know she's paranoid and prone to internalizing slights that never even really happened. She's crazy, she was always going to be crazy, anybody that turns into a serial killer is crazy. There's no justifying it.
>>145559392
Not really, the note he pinned to the wall was her confession letter to him. So she went from having a crush on the kid to killing him. And for some reason the kid is to blame in your mind?
I'm sorry to interrupt toko madness discussion, but it has just kicked off.
>>145559183
>tiny incident
>implying it didn't cause group harassment
You have no idea of how bullying works and are acting like the little shit is innocent just because he got murdered
Like I said, inform yourself of how bullying in japan works
Sticking the note in the wall was clearly intended for people to bully Toko
Clearly far from a "tiny incident"
>>145559451
Stop talking until you learn how bullying in japan works
There's also the issue of Japan's society providing very little support to bullying victims
Why do you think so many vicitms choose to commit suicide?
>>145559604
Toko's the bully for killing him. Not gonna let you keep trying to warp the discussion around to making Toko the victim here.
>>145559679
And I am not gonna let you warp the discussion around because of you being ignorant of how bullying in japan works and making the little shit the victim just because the poor asshole got murdered
Toko just took justice into her own hands
Also, what if she didn't actually have the extremely paranoid personality she now has back then?
What if she got warped because of bullying?
Stop blaming the victim here
>>145559451
I am not defending her actions, I just explaining her actions. I don't know how I would act if I was in her situation, there have been incidents where I just could not control myself and did bad things.
So I know that feeling of loosing control, however I was entirely aware of my actions and conscious. I just lost my reasoning to hold myself back.
Toko is a victim and perpetrator, remember toko has no control over syo when she goes unconscious. This would be an entirely different discussion if she was still toko when she kill the boy and Syo never existed.
>>145559924
Toko's the bully for killing him, if you hate bullying so much then stop defending bullies like Toko.
>>145559983
Hopefully you wouldn't become a serial killer or try to murder the other person. If that's in question I suggest you seek help and I actually mean that.
I don't think it changes the discussion at all, by the way. The discussion was never Toko's moral culpability but rather her victims'. If Toko killed him and/or multiple other people as Syo or as herself it wouldn't really change the answer in my mind.
We're talking about a level of bullying that would drive a child to suicide, and does so on a regular basis.
We're talking "your life is literally a living hell for a certain period of time on a daily basis and you cannot escape it in any way."
>>145560221
At no point do we ever see that's what Toko suffered from, you're inferring that to justify her actions. Now that I type that out, even that looks ridiculous to me. There is no justifying it; even if you want to over-inflate bullying in Japan to rationalize a murder of some poor elementary school kid, you still couldn't do it for the countless other victims who had no connection to it at all.
>>145560221
I disagree, as a kid I would imagine you would feel you have no escape or choice. But the problem with all of us as kids is that we are not aware of our options and controlled by fear.
>>145560160
No I just broke my step dads nose, arm, and a window. I never hurt anyone at school besides crushing somebody hand for holding me back. And pushing somebody who just tripped over a garbage can I didn't see behind them.
>>145560160
>the victim is the bully because she killed the fucker
This logic is retarded
I undertand Toko because currently I'm a bit like her (without a serial killer split personality. Just extremely shy and paranoid and afraid of even talking to other people)
I wasn't like that in my childhood. It was bullying which drove me away of other people
Considering how the thing works in Japan, I can see why if Toko suffered it, she could go from a normal shy but kind girl to an extremely paranoid girl who can't trust anyone
Toko's not the bully, imbecile
Inform yourself, or stop talking about stuff you clearly know nothing about
>>145560386
Toko wasn't just bullied, she also had a really fucked up family situation. Her dad fucked two women, who both got pregnant, and then one of the babies died by accident, and both women claimed the dead baby was theirs, and neither of them agreed to a blood test, so she grew up with a cheating dad and two moms that didn't want her.
>>145560160
Different anon. Killing him was completely out of line, I agree. I really have more of an issue of how you are interpreting the letter incident. That's the only thing that's named, but read between Toko's lines. In DRAE she say several times that Komaru was her first friend. The letter incident happened in grade school. You can't pretend there hasn't been a ton of shit between then and now. Plus, there's also the fact that dissociative disorders like what Toko has are considere to mostly be caused by trauma, and you can't really pretend she jumped from normal to serial killer over one thing.
>>145560386
>muh dead kid
Congratulations
You're one of the retards who'd buy Monaka's shit if Toko didn't stop Komaru from breaking the Monokuma Controller (which would cause the helmets of the Monokuma kids to explode)
>>145560650
Actually, do we know for sure she killed him while they were both still grade schoolers?
>>145560503
Don't misunderstand what I'm saying, when I say Toko is crazy or that I don't believe her victim has any moral culpability, that is not to marginalize abuse. I'm literally talking about a context where someone was humiliated because of a relatively small thing and murdered somebody else over it.
>>145560517
Toko's not the victim, she's the bully.
>>145560564
Either way it's just more evidence that Toko was always going to be Toko.
>>145560620
"Killing him was completely out of line" seems to be an understatement, I'd say. Fact of the matter is this: Toko was going to suffer some form of humiliation at some point in her life. The fact that she turned into a serial killer over a relatively minute incident makes the victim completely blameless. Toko was a crazy person and she was always going to find some detail to blame it on, some imagined instigation.
>>145560867
Yes, its under history from her Wikipedia article.
http://danganronpa.wikia.com/wiki/Toko_Fukawa
>>145557260
Well, her parents, all three of them, were also shitty to her.
>>145560650
You mean muh dead kids, considering Toko has killed a lot more than one. Oh but bullying in Japan though.
>>145561106
>>145560620 Here, way to not address my post beyond the first fucking sentence dickwrangler. It takes a fuckton of trauma to develop DID. Bullying is the thing most prominently mentioned of her past. I'm holding your hand as hard as I can here anon, now put two and two together.
>>145561106
>minor incident
Considering how japanese society works?
Not a chance
Look, murder is going way too far. But, saying that because Toko killed the little shit, she didn't suffer a living hell for what he did?
Saying the incident was minor?
It might have been a minor incident on the west
But on Japan, it could easily lead to more
>>145561221
Yes, Syo is fucked up and shouldn't have killed anyone
But right now, I'm more angry about how you seem to understimate bullying in japan and claim that Toko was always crazy and paranoid instead of both traits being developed by a combination of shitty family life and being a victim of Japan's unique brand of extreme bullying
Stop acting like you know everything when you're clearly ignorant of how serious bullying in japan is
>>145561517
I was surprised you brought up the time between the incident and DRAE. We know "a lot of shit" happened between then and now. Namely: Toko killed a lot of innocent people.
But you're looking at it backwards. What you should be considering is everything before the incident. I'm not interested in debating whether an insane person is morally culpable for their crimes. I think under most American definitions of legal insanity (that is to say, the M'Naghten Rule, the Irresistable Impulse Test, Durham, or the ALI/MPC tests) she'd probably be found NOT insane and be thrown in jail. But seeing as how she's not an American and that's a legal conclusion rather than a moral conclusion.
Man I didn't know toko was this popular in the general.I'm not sharing, fite me irl faggits
>>145561976
I should've said I find it immaterial if she's legally insane, and debating moral culpability depends on the person. That is not to say it isn't worth debating, but I think if you're going to blame the first victim it's likely you don't blame Toko for her actions.
>>145561976
> Everything before the incident
You mean her fucked up family that were less important to her than a stinkbug?
>>145562149
Indeed, as I said in the post you quoted, just more evidence that she was always going to be Toko.
>>145561976
She didn't kill anyone until she developed DID and her Syo persona was born
So, tell me. How did she develop DID if the only fucked up shit to happen in her life is Syo murdering people?
For Syo to have been born and start murdering people. Toko had to suffer a lot.
Else, she wouldn't have developed DID
>>145562146
> blame the first victim
No longer the problem. Our current problem is your minimization of the events leading to Syo, and bullying in Japan in general. The victim is not to blame, that doesn't mean Toko's trauma was nearly as light as you're making it out to be.
>>145561713
>>145562264
Toko's the bully, not the victim.
>>145562245
So you admit she became a killer over more than the letter incident?
>>145562345
She became the bully when she developed DID and her Syo personality was born
She wouldn't have developed DID (thus Syo wouldn't have been born) if she wasn't the victim of a lot of traumatic shit
>>145562330
I'm "minimizing" the event because I don't think a little kid deserved to die for sticking a note on the wall? I bring up the gross disparity between "crime" and punishment to highlight the fact that he lacked moral culpability.
>>145562432
You might have me confused with someone else. I've been saying over and over again that Toko was always going to be Toko regardless of the minor letter incident.
>>145562484
>She became the bully
Hah, now who's defending bullying? You admit she's the bully, you've been gung-ho in your spiel that bullies should die, but when it comes to Toko we should just try to understand her more.
>>145562530
If that was the only thing that happened, Toko wouldn't have developed DID
There's obviously more, with the note incident being either what started it all or the point where Toko couldn't take it anymore
All we're saying is that you say all that happened was a kid sticking her love letter to a wall when that's not enough for anyone to develop DID
>>145562770
You say there's "obviously more" because you implicitly think it was unjustified too. Toko obviously didn't hate the kid before the incident; after all the love letter was to him.
>>145562747
I'm just talking in your own terms to see if you understand at some point, you massive donkey
Toko's as much of a victim as the murdered kid
If she wasn't, she wouldn't have gotten DID, Syo wouldn't have been born and all of Genocider's victims would still be alive
>>145562862
Of course it was. I'm not trying to justify murder here. Just trying to get you to understand Toko was also a victim before she developed DID
>>145562530
Consider for a moment I agree with everything you said here and my issue is with your understanding of Toko's past. DID doesn't happen over an isolated instance of bullying.
Holy shit i feel like 90% of this thread was bullied because they ran like naruto to lunch, or play yugioh and pokemon at lunch from middle school to high school.
>>145563164
>or play yugioh and pokemon at lunch from middle school to high school
I never saw anyone who played yugioh in high school get bullied for it
>>145562991
>>145563007
But as I already said I'm not really interested in debating whether Toko's morally culpable for Syo. As somebody mentioned near the start of the argument, arguing about whether the insane are morally culpable for their decisions is boring and goes nowhere.
As I said in my very first post, the kid she killed isn't responsible for turning her into a serial killer. She was always going to be a crazy person. The fact that we don't even know the kid's name is apt because he might as well be "nameless conflict that triggered Toko"; and he was always going to appear even if it might not have been the same boy.
>>145563324
Are you seriously this stupid? Do I really need to break this down into simple english?
We are not talking about guilt.
We are not talking about whether she's legally insane.
We ARE talking about how much bad shit has happened in Toko's life, and how that led to Syo. THIS IS NOT TO EXCUSE HER ACTIONS AS SYO, but rather to understand what led her to that point.
You re under the impression the only bad thing that happened to her was the letter thing. That is false, and the fact that you're "not really interested" in talking about it just proves you know you're wrong.
>>145563164
I mean.. yeah. Whatever. I can kinda see where you're coming from. As an adult you just don't really care about how you got bullied when you were a kid anymore. Maybe /drg/ skews younger than I thought. Not to sound all old but I was bullied in high school quite a bit. If I have regrets it's not about how I didn't kick their ass or whatever, it's that I didn't enjoy myself more while I was there. The bullies don't even matter to me anymore.
But then again that's just my experience. If you're abused physically or sexually or whatever, that never happened to me. I can see how that can be a hang up on your life.
>>145563838
Maybe I do need you to break it down in simple English, because for the life of me I cannot understand the point you're trying to make. Toko has shitty parents. Established! Now what? We could've gotten that much from reading her FTEs. I didn't join the discussion to "better understand Toko", I got that through the game.
>You re under the impression the only bad thing that happened to her was the letter thing.
You keep fundamentally misunderstanding what I'm saying because what you claim is the exact opposite of what I keep saying. I've been saying this entire time that Toko was always going to be Toko regardless of the letter thing. Where are you getting the idea that I have the exact opposite opinion?
>he fact that you're "not really interested" in talking about it just proves you know you're wrong.
Talking about what? Her moral culpability? That's what I said I wasn't really interested in talking about, but you just said you didn't want to talk about that either. Make your points clearer.
>>145563164
I got bullied for having red hair and freckles, and people made fun of my massive amount of freckles, and red hair through out childhood.
And people started referring to me as the Jew or Freckle jew around 7th grade.
>>145563324
And all I'm trying to argue is that before becoming perpetrator, Toko was a victim of a bunch of traumatic shit
If she wasn't, and the letter incident was isolated, she wouldn't have developed DID
While you seem to claim she developed it just because of a single minor incident, that's clearly as impossible as fucking growing wings and flying
There had to be more stuff, or she wouldn't have developed DID
You say it's just minor childhood harassing that happens to a lot of people
But her DID is proof that she had to have been through a lot of other shit, or she wouldn't have developed it
>>145564242
>While you seem to claim she developed it just because of a single minor incident
Alright, that does it. Either you guys are samefags or it must be my fault for not making my points clear. Point to the post where I claimed this and I'll try to see where I fucked up.
>>145563857
Honestly it wasn't the bullies for me, but how it felt like my family just didn't care. They did, my Mom seriously regrets not pulling me out of school. I'm still holding grudges against them to this day, even though I know they're wildly unjustified and I have trouble getting close to people and making friends. Bullying doesn't have to be bad for it to fuck you up.

So, it seems to be a misunderstanding on my part. Sorry, then
Yep, Toko/Syo should have never murdered the kid
There's no justifying that
Then, there's the fact that Syp has claimed that she enjoys murdering and takes pride in the gross corpse displays she does (leaving them in a crucifix position and using their blood to write bloodstain fever), which justifies it even less.
Anyways, I was talking about Fukawa having suffered a lot. You were talking about how she shouldn't have resorted to murder
And you're completely right about that.
