So I think it depends on what's available for the mods you want and if you can drop some for the body you want.

First, silverlock and his team would actually have to make it. Then the hundreds of modders that made SKSE-related mods would have to rebuilt them for it.
Then they would have to figure out a way to even get it on console, since as it stands right now bethnet is limited to .esps and .b2as directly to Data, nothing is built to allow something like a secondary launcher .exe to be installed to the core directory.

Why are people assuming the Skyrim remaster will break mods? It's the same engine with post processing injectors, added grass and an HD texture pack.
It's virtually the same thing as running Skyrim with ENB a grass mod and a texture pack there's literally nothing changed otherwise and there shouldn't be any sort of compatibility issues with anything.
I mean, if they thought it would break mods I highly doubt they'd bother adding mods to consoles.
