It looks like there are ultimate attacks that can instantly kill the titan? Ult attacks are latest and greatest skill compression technique in FPS, and if they found their way in TTF2 it's utterly dissapointing. I don't want TTF2 to be even more shallow than the first.

If it's anything like the first game, then it's not going to be too common. Core abilities took a while to charge up unless you used a Burn Card. Not to mention Atlas had about 150% Damage Boost Titan Core and it wasn't poorly balanced.

You're wrong, you can get your damage core real fast and it's atrociously unbalanced, expecailly coupleled with arc cannon: enough to outclass stryder completely in every mode and enough to outclass every weapon except special anti-arc cannon 40mil atlus loadout with warp shield.

That's because so far they haven't showcased any in-city areas like in the first game that allowed for super fast wall running and boosting up high on the Z-Axis. It's just been showing off the core gameplay in bits and putting the rest in more open field areas to better showcase new features, like the new Titans and how the Grappling Hook works.

Core abilities took upwards of 3 minutes to charge passively and only charged faster by causing damage. Considering how quick it is to take down a Titan, it was a decent trade off and decently balanced in itself. Not to mention the Stryder is a flanking Titan and can easily be taken down by just Pilots without even Rodeo-ing, so literally everything outclasses it in a straight up fight.

Not really. Everyone plays arc cannon now, completely outclassing every other weapon and stryder out of the game. CTF would be tha only exception, but CTF is also completely broken since the patch because you can't carry a flag in your titan now on maps that were specifially designed to carry a flag in your titan.

Everything changes in 2v2+ fights where 40mil is useless and are completely outclassed by arc because it can't chain damage to other targets and have no ability to do anything in 1v2 situations etc.

Arc is easy to dodge and defeat in a 1v1. Just plop down a shield-wall and keep firing, his dumbass will either fire at the shield to bring it down or charge towards you while you keep firing at his crit parts. Arc cannon is only a problem when its combined with Stryder's, and even then they are easy to deal with since they're made of paper.

Arc cannon's main advantage is its abilitty to easily put out max amount of damage in the 0,1 sec window, in contrast: with 40mil you need to keep your line of sight with the enemy in order to do damage. Good arc player will make extensive use of cover to wear you down, best tactic to at least slightly counter it would be to use warp shield but you also need the ability to know the future because with capacitor arc cannon could be charged and ready to shoot indefinetely: he can just wait it out while you deplete your shield or go back to cover, put a cluster on your way to him and zap you if you choose to attack, back out a little, put a shield wall up and zap you couple more times while you on your way to him, or backing out. Only sure way to kill arc would be to rush him with warp shield up and damage core active, but this tactic needs too many things ot line up correctly in order to work, but it will get you a win, but it was not your skill or gun, it was damage core and mindless rushing. Choosing shield wall when going up against good arc cannon player is a complete suicide: worst thing that could happen to him when you put up a shileld wall is that he will use his own wall in response, back up to cover, wait for your wall to deplete and then you are at a disadvantage again, because he can show his ass for one second to deal big damage to you and then go to cover and you need a constant eyes on target, who's gonna win?

I hate sliding in FPS games so i dislike that. But i hate it because of how awfully it was implemented in CoD games and in Destiny, BO3 wallrun is also shit, so maybe Respawn could make sliding fun i don't know.

probably, but most players I play against are max level Gen 7, and they need Titan melee executions to get to Gen 8. That's one thing I liked about TF's prestige system, you had to earn it. Not just sit around sniping bots for easy XP. I'm trying to get to Gen 9 and I need like 30 Titanfall kills, its fucking hard.

Thats shitter loadouts, i mean choosing nuke eject in any loadout kida speaks for itself. I played with good players on xbone and just recently all they used was atlus+arc or 40mil exclusively. There are a POSSIBILITY to use stryder with ark (i use it because i'm stubborn) but only if you are a really calm pearson that can handle the frustration, also there is small niche for ogre with chaingun+accelerator. Nothing else works.
Quads stryder+big punch+electric smoke was excellent super fun noob masher loadout that i used in the early game. Now it's useless.
