These do not matter because if you're going DF, it's data center-wide so you're also gonna be with people outisde of Balmung. This is usually why people do not make conversations in duties, and the fact that people want to clear shit immediately.

How did they fuck up fishing so badly in Heavensward? In ARR areas I could easily fish so long as my gear matched the level I was in. With a HQ rod I never lost a single fish. In Heavensward areas now and I'm level 58 with level 55 equipment(level 57 HQ rod) and fish are still fucking getting away even in level 51 areas. I flat-out can not fish in level 54 areas because apparently my stats are not high enough. The fuck is that? I'm overleveled and overgeared for the area but I don't have the stats for it? That is bullshit. I have leveled from 50 to 58 exclusively on crabs because that's the only thing worth a damn that I'm allowed to fucking catch. This was a nice, cozy job to level during dungeon queues and now it's frustrating as fuck because I can't fucking do anything despite having the best possible gear available to me and being overleveled for the areas I want to move to.

I just want a revamp/complete dissolution of the cross-class system. Give all casters a base Swiftcast or something similar, give all tanks a Taunt or something similar. Right now it's just a boring lengthy grind to get your completely manual cross-classes, there's no interesting design or thought. GET RID OF IT.

I'd want an overhaul of the combat. The game's combat is complicating itself with so many buffs and filler spells/skills for no reason while not being engaging at all. Don't get me wrong. It's easy to play, but pressing about buttons 2-3 hot bars isn't fun.
Like seriously, who thought Fang and Claw and Wheeling Thrust was a good idea? And what's the reason for having Bio II, Miasma and Bio when it could just be one spell (or two since Miasma has heavy) you can apply? Skills with grades that are just different in potencies are awful, too. Like Stone I, II and III.

The first thing I'd like to see are classes getting fine tuned. Tank classes should all get their tank stances at level 15 and I feel that positionals should be abolished completely. They feel arbitrary to add unnecessary complication to rotations in which hurt classes during solo content and are often a point of frustration in raids where bosses enjoy turning around a lot. I would also like to see a lot more reactionary gameplay rather than strict rotation based mechanics to a class.

like wheel/fang being one button that switches depending on the buff you get, and have it just replace heavy thrust when it comes up (still gives the buff)
stone 1/2/3 could be one spell that improves with passives instead
DoTs being multiple buttons is good, but they should have a reduced GCD
there's lots of stuff like this you could do to reduce bloat

I agree. BLU's attire in FFXI is shit, could say the same with Vana'diel's fashion with that tribal-esque designs. The WHM AF was really ugly.
