The replayablity in Undertale is kind of shit for a game fousced around playing multiple times. I've been trying to replay the game and between the ruins which is my least favorite area in the game and snowdin which is fine I guess but too easy and dialog heavy it can be a ppain

Not being able to explore the city. Toby could've added two or three screens for it, show an alleyway, an entrance to an apartment building, maybe a littered street, etc. and it would've been acceptable. The underground is supposed to be overcrowded and cramped, but all the areas we see are pretty spacious and empty. Add some NPCs that are a little more bitter than the other monsters, maybe a short boss like Muffet, some easter eggs here and there. Bam. Nice little area.

How the bosses were too easy. I swear you can only get stuck at 4 bosses. (Asgore, Sans, Undying, Muffet without Spider Donut/Cidar). The rest are easy (Papyrus, Toriel, Undyne, Mettaton EX) or impossible to lose (NEO, Asriel, Flowey).
I just hope toby gets off his ass and actually finishes hard mode.

Ehh Asgore has a number of different reactions to resetting and fighting a couple of times and hes built up across the game enough by other characters that I feel like you get a pretty good idea of what kind of person he is from what screen time he hasbut im a dadfag so biased.Meanwhile Flowey has a ton of content if you mess around with resets and when you add in Genocide was pretty fully developed imo. Honestly I think Toriel is the most boring and least developed of the goats and suffered the most from having almost no screen time outside of the ruins and at the end

New home to the end of the OF fight was a rollercoster
Go from feeling good after the Mettaton fight to heart crushingly depressed from the monster's speech and Asriels backstory to wondering around Asgores house and seeing everything he lost to actually meeting him to the hype that was his fight, to the feeling of satisfaction when you force him to accept your mercy to him then dying by Floweyor yourself if you're a monsterto the overwhelming holy shitness of seeing OF for the first time to the cluster fuck that was his fight to the feel of joy and accomplishment when you start calling for help from the other souls and Finale kicking in to finally showing Flowey whose boss only to end up getting a depressing ending that didn't really solve anything.
I love TP but damn that was a good stretch of video game

I played the game almost entirely blind, one of the very few things I've seen before playing was a gif of a goat in armor destroying the mercy button. When I played the game either people would say Asgore was a softie or he was powerful I assumed the softie part was a facade and I was pleasantly surprised when it turned out he was both.

I just didn't connect to her at all during the ruins and her boss fight was meh to me so her showing up at the end of TP was less "oh hey mom is here to make everything okay!" and more "oh hey that person is here now". It started as Sans wearing a Gaster Blaster as a helmet and evolved into dragon/dinosaur/wolf skeletons over time.
As for Sans with a hairstyle that is only marginally better than Josuke Higashikata's, it was actually the result of a mistake in the wording of a fanfic that made it sound like Sans was transforming into something. A reader drew fanart, and the author liked the idea so much, they decided to make it an actual plot point.
