Do the PvP elements of this game have toned down voice clips? Because I watched a friend fight that spider boss and the boss repeated his voice lines so much I considered suicide.

Geoff is THE worst offender in the game and we all hate him for it.
The rest of the bosses in the game have significantly fewer quotes than that.
PvP's voice clips are all field announcements like in League, your character's standard grunts and kill-things quotes, and their own 'player spotted' quotes.
Those last ones have a set of unique lines for about a fourth of the cast, and are pretty flavorful, so they might not make sense if you don't touch the PvE.

The main issue with Alani's Geyser was that when I was hit by it I thought I was hit with an pseudo-ult.
Geyser says 1 second but it's ~0.75 sec on the way up 1 second in the bubble and another like~0.5 on the way down. I thought it was just a knockup and down that lasted 1 second in total transit going up and down. Her ult is so fucking good but it just shits on Ambra's so hard whose ult is just plain ass until level 10 in which then it's just okay so it's just the worst out of all the aoe ults.

Alani's ult isn't that great. Easy to land, pretty pathetic damage for an ult (Seriously half the time I'm hit by it I don't even realize it because of how little damage the initial hit does). It's the fact that she can guarantee the initial hit by sticking it, and the DoT afterwards that makes it dangerous, but you can just walk out of the DoT.

I remember seeing Shayne and Auroxes all the time, and never had a problem dealing with any of them. Then all of a sudden I stopped seeing Shayne and Auroxes. I fully admit I don't play her, I wasn't very impressed with her kit.
As for ISIC, he did need nerfing but he got nerfed too much. He's pretty much made out of paper now and is only dangerous when his ult is up and he's hiding behind teammates or minions.

The slow was the CC I was talking about. Pushback is for idiots who don't know how to quick melee.
I usually take the triple sticky because three slowed targets instead of just one is usually more useful to my team, but I've been coming around to using stick n' sap more often. Still only does better damage on a target that has shields up, 342 damage from sap + nade on health vs. 348 from triple stick nade.

While I understand that argument for triple sticky, there's rarely a point where the enemy team is grouped in a way that you can do that reliably. It also lowers the Napalm area when that comes around, so that sucks. Sap is just more consistent.

Alani's does around the same damage and is easy to hit the foe with some of the blast.

It is surprisingly hard. There is a lot of knowledge to gain, so I advise just finding a characccter that you think is ccool and sticck with them for a while until you get a handle on the game.
Also I enjoy taking the time to learn the lore and listen to dialogue and stuff. There is a lot of fun to be had.
Also Attikus is the best you should totally play him tho realtalk Montana is a strong choice for noobiez.

iddk, I acctually feel that Attikus has an extremely strong early game that scales really well.
I find his weakness is that I feel like he is primarily a duelist and a guy who punishes mistakes extremely harsh and doesn't have mucch for group fights unless he has ult w/ 5 charges or his team goes in hard on someone he stuns.

In general, supp in Battleborn are pretty hardcore assholes and for the longest time I thought Ambra was a dmg mage ccuz she killed so mucch.
Both of their play patterns are pretty similar with both of them foccusing on zone ccontrol for dmg and generally avoiding enemies while getting kinda close to lay out the pain.

idk, I've found the flaws of those characcters to be pretty pronounced when you force them out. As Attikus I've wreccked many an Osccar Mike and Marquis to force reccalls and allow for my team to put out some sweet pressure.
At the end of the day, I don't feel like any of those characters have such amazing strengths (aside from CHEESE) that their lack of deep play pattern flaws really matters.
Played the beta, had lots of fun with Phoebe and Orendi. My concern is how many players are there on PS4? I enjoyed it a lot more than Overwatch but I don't want to buy a game with horrendous match making times, I made that mistake with Evolve. Just seeing how slow these generals are makes me lose hope.

It can vary by time and game type.
Despite being the fastest of the three game types, Capture is the deadest.
Incursion and Meltdown are ok. Like maybe 4-5 minutes at the worst.
Bringing people along with you helps out. Your region will also make a difference. I'm from USA, which doesn't seem to have much in the way of population problems.
Reminder that if you play Alani to stop holding down M1 sometimes to heal your fucking team You are already a detriment, at least try to act less like one.

That nice. Attickus needs his Legendary to even remotely function.
Pounce is his only escape and only stuns if they hit the wall and you have no way of knowing 100% how your collision will displace the foe because that shit is unpredictable. Also Pouncing to initiate is utter suicide because 9/10 they have an ally sitting in the back backing them up and 1v1's are rare f the team doesn't split up like chickens. Anything Attickus can do other do it better of match him but don't need the planets to align.

It really isn't, and I hate throwing this around but if you have trouble stunning people with pounce you just need to git gud.

I keep saying he plays like an assassin and you keep assuming Attikus players are incapable of finding situations where they can get a player alone. It happens. Quite a bit. Even in a 2v1, getting stunned by Pounce is extremely disorienting, and that is all Attikus needs to kill one of the two before they can interrupt him. That's how fast he can kill someone. The only other character who can 100-0 someone as quickly as Attikus is Phoebe, and she usually has to blow her Ultimate to do it.

I own the game and have already put quite a few hours into on Xbox One, while I'd prefer PC, I feel as though 1k players is far too small to sustain it but we don't have specific numbers on consoles.
