I don't know why you keep bringing up sales numbers when SC don't release them for any of their games. They have admitted sales figures for VLR were disappointing and they were putting the third game on hiatus over it, though, while claiming that Danganronpa sales were impressive leading to stage plays, physical merchandise, numerous novels, a spin-off, 3 animes, numerous mangas, etc. to cash in on its popularity.
If I'm wrong, feel free to provide even a single source for ZE being more popular in the west than DR. You provide one source and I'll admit you're right.
