As long as Alchemists can't make their potions better than other Alchemist's potions, it'll never be a worthwhile money gain method. You can't make your potions better, so the only way to sell is to undercut.

Needing cheap/easy to get mats for potions forces you to leave them weaker, IMO they should take the reverse approach, make alchemist potions really good, but make the items needed to make them pretty hard to get, so people who do end game content would use that a lot, for example.

They're already way better than npc potions and you do need a lot when end game ranged mobs hit for thousands at a time. The problem is ktos is dead and everyone who needs potions can already get them from their guild alchemist or they have an alch alt already. A lot of monsters drop it.
Most famous places to farm it is Legwyn Family open world dungeon. I always get 1 or 2 from there that I don't need while just exploring or doing journal kills.
Another good place to farm it is the Mine 2nd lot which is the "hidden" level 100+ area. I forgot what mobs but the 2nd area. Always got a drop there and the place is filled with monsters no one bothers farming so you'll be alone and comfy. Remember to do the crystal stuff so you gain free buffs to grind in here so you never have to campfire at all.

I know the boxes drop the Arde dagger which is a huge money maker but you can only enter a dungeon twice or max 3 times. Is there a reason to rush it instead of just slowly doing it? You can't really farm the boxes. because you can only kill the boss max 3 times.

I think that the devs have actually tricked us all. They pretended to be doing what the playerbase wanted, but look - no new updates, F2P was only open for a few days, they only implemented sustainable TP purchasing recently. I think they've been following their June launch schedule to the letter, and just doing stuff to make us think that the game's been out for a month.
You just watch. In a few weeks, the original launch date will appear, and suddenly we'll get a massive amount of patches, content, and support. F2P will open again. Servers will actually be good. And IMC will be laughing because they managed to trick 30k people into thinking they "listened".
