Atlus USA does the actual localizing. They would have known there was no way Persona 5 was going to be released in 2015 way before the delay was annoucned.

If you are arguing against the inclusion of dual audio, or attempting to placate those who want it by shaming them into settling for a dub, then you are cheering for fewer options. Your exact reasoning and intentions are irrelevant. This is a black and white issue where you either want Japanese audio, whether to use or for someone else to use, or you don't want anyone to have it at all.

No, I never said that. There are some Japanese games I'd prefer in English because it works better that way and may even be the creator's true vision (do Metal Gear for example).
And I'm absolutely fine with people playing Persona games in English even if given Japanese audio as well. I don't want to, for reasons many share, but I wouldn't try to take it away from anyone.
English dubs are quite cringeworthy, specially when they try to pronounce japanese names. Also the girls sound like twice their age.
