the point short story is that Sleepycabin was supposed to be a studio where these former newgrounds alumni got together to try and be a animation studio but Stamper ended up being the only real competant one who was the most enthusiastic about the whole idea, even helping to pay for the studio they used. I've (tried) installing FNIS and FNIS patches through Mod Organizer three times in my time playing Skyrim but only actually got it to work once. That time, I'm quite sure I had MO installed separately from Skyrim, with both on C:\. The times it wouldn't work were when I had Skyrim on F:\, and when MO was installed inside steamapps\common\Skyrim. In all cases I've tried running all programs as admin. When FNIS doesn't work, it usually tells me it can't find any plugins, or that there was an error writing it's patch. All the installation guides and error reporting threads I look up just don't have info for this shit. Can anyone experienced with FNIS tell me what directories I should install all my stuff in? the skyrim folder, MO install folder, MO virtual mod folder, FNIS folder, etc. I would greatly appreciate it.

Best advice I can give ya is to double check everything, make sure it's all up to date. You'll figure it out I'm sure (and probably forget about it just like I have a couple of times now). The problem is that I only run into it whenever I reinstall. Which has only happened twice (the first time I did it and the second time was when I moved to a different pc for playing on).

About to play Morrowind for basically the first time, couple questions:
1. Is MOSG good enough as far as modding goes?
2. Can I have a fun time as a mage with atronach sign first run through or should I save that for when I know the game better?
3. If enemies are leveled, and you only level up by raising major/minor skills, would it be a good idea to put skills you use the most as neither, that way you're more powerful when you DO get around to leveling your major/minor skills?

First, I never said that all those issues are fixed, another anon did.
But with mods, the gameplay drastically improves, you can turn anyone into a vampire, you can make thralls, you can make the sun as damaging as you want, even with cool burning effects from being in the sun. There are MANY different play styles for vampires, and Better Vampires+mods allows you to do this, just by flipping switches to match your play style, if Better Vampires isn't to your like, there are other main 'overhauls' but are outdated and likely aren't as compatible with the other mods. You can make it as hard or as easy as you want. YOU need to go through those options and decide which ones match your play style.
Better Vampires alone doesn't do it, there are other mods that help and make vampires much better, that make your followers also feed, etc.
Royal Bloodline is an obvious addition to any vampire playthru, Bloodthirst I think is what makes your followers feed when they're hungry. BVFE, DVA, etc... Just look around, there are lots of mods, and which mods you choose will alter your game. Spend the time to find them and you can have a modded vampire playthru that will at least be close to what you want, I'd be very surprised if you gave it some real effort and couldn't. There are a lot more mods out there. Go look for them.

Enemies and loot in general are not leveled
(There are leveled encounters and random leveled loot but they are largely inconsequential, not worth basing your leveling around beceause your equipment is SO much more defining of your power level)
If you want to go atronach, all you need is an early level summon ghost spell. Ghosts will cast wimpy spells that can be absorbed, making them little mana batteries you can summon and recharge your magicka from.

Making any custom race into a vampire race is pretty easy, and can be done with only minimal CK knowledge and 30-60 mins literally modding it to make it happen (this is for a beginner with no clue what they're doing).
The fact that a race isn't 'vampire compatible' is an excuse made by modders who have no idea how to mod to begin with and are literally playing with puzzle pieces, in which case, you get to play with those pieces, don't bitch because some other anon hasn't made something you specifically want plug and play for YOU.

ya, there's a couple of them, I don't remember the names though. but there are mods that will put different and worthwhile loot into normal stuff like crates and barrels, etc... nothing awesome, but makes going thru generic houses much more feasible, you can actually find stuff that is relatively valuable or at least useful.
