For me the biggest problem with widowmaker is the fact that she has a fucking assult rifle, the HP of an average frontline hero, a grappling hook and a mine.
If you manage to get close to her you should be almost guaranteed to kill her, unless she's extremely skilled. However, unless you play something like Reaper or McRee, there's a big chance of her killing you in close range or escaping easily.

I think the most stupid thing about Widowmaker is her absurd time-to-kill on a proficient sniper. She'll be more efficient than most classes can be when they pop their ultimates. This forces the whole meta around which defending yourself against Widow and having the best widow in the first place.
Secondly I mind all her other retarded options that makes it stupid hard to kill her because it's literally like trying to fight S:76 with half the hitbox.

Mei's strength seems alright (even weak if your team is coordinated), but the main issue with her is she wastes people's time and there's very little you can do while you wait. I don't mean do to be effective, I mean things you can do with your keyboard and mouse to even entertain yourself while you wait.
Even a Bastion can't break the wall fast enough for it to be worth it. You have to kill her essentially twice over each time. While waiting for her to come out of the ice, you can toss a junkrat trap onto her head, but otherwise you just have to wait for the thaw/icewall combo.
Make it so it's viable for attackers and defenders to bust the wall, make it so shooting an iced Mei does something (like, subtracting from its healing potential). Maybe make her freeze solid faster and last for less time.

In Nepal I've found the objective to be confined enough that sentries work well as a constant annoyance while you play like a bootleg Winston with your M1 primarily in the two outdoor maps as well as acting as a good way to cover the flank room to the side in the indoor stage. She's pretty useless on Ilios and Lijiang, though.
Symmetra on Attack is mostly just covering flanks with sentries and helping final pushes with a teleporter but overall she's not worth it most of the time.
