You need to play him aggressively to be of use to your team.
Spam nades over chokepoints every so often but spend more time hunting down the team. Be annoying. Stall them with more nadespam. Use concussion mine to blow them off a point or separate them from each other. Throw trap around corners or when you're being chased. Detonate concussion mine in people's faces when they're trying to kill you. If you're about to die, get as close as possible to any enemy because the nades you drop on death can easily kill.
You can also use concussion mine to get up to high areas you shouldn't be able to. Use that to be extra extra annoying by spamming shit down on people who don't bother looking up.

And this is a nobrainer but never use ultimate head-on unless it's an emergency. Always come from behind or the side because the team expects it from the front 99% of the time.
