There's not enough new players coming in for any raid group to either be everyone pulling their weight or a carry. It shouldn't take more than one or two runs for you to get 80% of the raid. Learning the other 20% is just slowly taking all the roles or learning stuff like where certain enemies spawn that you didn't notice before.
