CC is a prequel that came out 10 years after FF7 and for a completely different platform, so it obviously can't import your save. If you're gonna watch AC, then make sure to get the longer AC Complete version. Dirge of Cerberus is not entirely terrible, but it kind of clashes with the rest of the Compilation and chances are that FFVIIR will rewrite it a lot.

ExDeath is pretty efficient for a villain. I'm up to the point where he voided the library of the ancients. Seems to be a fairly smart move, albiet not voiding Bartz and crew would have been a smarter one. Atomic Scissors was the last Gun-Arm released in JP (Barret's only other relic is a Bracer), but Jecht's BSB weapon is a Blitzball.

So the new abilities in Japan are now available:
The 4* Ranger skill is a 1.5x multiplier AOE physical water attack, 1.7x if you're using a ranged weapon. Not worth that much of a mention.
The 5* Ranger skill is a 3.3x single target physical water attack divided across two hits, upgraded to 3.7x if you have a ranged weapon equipped.
...So it's a strong single target damage option for several lower-tier characters without one.

The alternative to giving it to Faris would be letting Bartz have it. Bartz does not need a Saint Cross equivalent, he's already busted enough as it is.
