Hard to say honestly, I tried out Final Fantasy XIV for a while, got to max level and all that, it's fun, huge helpful community with guild/player housing, it's a great game to make friends in, only problem I have with it is that combat feels extremely slow compared to WoW and there is very little to no PVP, it's not their main focus at all so there's almost no PVP content.

nothing wrong with the chinese. they added a whole new dimension to the community. there was /world and /china chat. at azuregoes there were the euro and murica guilds who often worked together, and the chinese guilds who fought the other chinese guilds. but if we were outnumbered the chinese would actually contact us and we would group up and dominate azuregoes. hell i even tanked BWL for blood and honor because their tank fucked up.
but you never experienced any of this because you were in a nosg meme guild. instead of raiding and pvping with top guilds you chose to roll a character with cuck or autism in your name and join salty dogs and stay in STV for months. the only experience you have is with the chinese is getting ganked by them because you never got good gear and thats why youre butthurt.

First of all they always had shit gear outside of the rank 14 ones since they rushed 60 just to farm gold and sell characters. Sitting there in tier 2 didn't make the lag, the crowding, the fucked up AH, the gold whispers and the inability to communicate with 2/3 of the playerbase during peak hours any better.
Second of all they were genuinely terrible at pvp, partly because of their lag and mostly because of their total disregard for playing the game for the sake of itself. WPVP outside of DM entrance served them no purpose. 9 out of 10 times if you ganked one they would stand still and take it, just so they could die and res those few seconds faster to get back to the grind. Not even an /emote to try to convince you to spare them.

I play both, 60's and raiding on each one. Objective pros/cons:
K1: less people running end game dungeons, but way more raiding guilds (for obvious reasons). AH more stable. Population is seemingly more laid back but that's my opinion.
K2: higher pop, AH full of low level stuff, tons of dungeon groups, but WAY more lag. Tons of memers, elitest ass holes, etc (once again just my opinion though)
East coast US here. I get 1.5k-2k ms on K2 during EU peak. Meanwhile 200ms at worst on K1. Once that fixed K2 is superior imo.
