That has nothing to do with NCsoft or the game; it's the players. You may think it's scummy but not everyone cares about being THE best. For many, just being very good is enough because goddamn it's a hobby. We were consistently top 1-20 in WoW when we played arena actively with a bunch of friends. We just wanted the title and mounts, and only once even took a real shot at season finish #1. If we found ourselves unable to win a team after 2-3 losses, we just stopped queueing. Why lose points against one enemy if you beat the rest? If you don't care about being the very best it doesn't matter. I bet most of those people are just out to get the top 30 outfit.

Despite ESPORTS being one of the main advertising points of BnS, NCWest does not seem to give a flying fuck about making the PvP in this game even remotely acceptable.
