Honestly most decks still use classic cards as the basis. Classic will not be rotated out. So if you're playing as the anon said, you will play arena, earn packs, earn money and play with the new cards even if you don't have them. And if you're good you might end up going infinite and earn enough dust to make everything you want. Obviously getting all cards is completely out of question, but that's even if you pay unless you go in with several hundred per expansion and even the you're not guaranteed to get all of it.
A f2p new player should work towards building up a strong classic foundation before bothering with expansions.

I thought this was just a meme. I didn't really get that playing as you start getting agitated could actually affect your games that much. This is like the 3rd time this season I've dropped 2 ranks while fumbling around between 1-5. I'll take a break I guess and get a fresh start next season
