Dirty Bomb is not going to be that impacted by Overwatch being the numbers were already rather low. It's a near dead f2p game and the only ones left playing it just like the game a lot.
The game makers have been doing a lot of event like BS the last month or so keep people at least checking into the game here and there. Even I stopped playing Overwatch to pop in for my free elite case + wep trinket.
boosted the player numbers too from 3k to like 5k. Dirty Bomb being OBJ like Overwatch really go me use to having shitters on your team to don't understand the OBJ is the team goal.

I'd say it's arguably on par with S92. Focus is good with the Stark, Spares is amazing for the Stark, Explody is really nice after the grenade changes, plus it has the M9 and Beckhill. Both are good, and I don't think one is particularly better than the other.

Yeah today has been pretty nice. I got an Expert case from the Arsenal case, which provided good fodder, as did the free Expert case. I traded up this Kira today, which I'm not sure how to feel about. On one hand, I really enjoy the Dreiss on Kira, it'sfunand nice with her speed. Dreiss suffers horribly from aimpunch, so Focus is great for it, and Quick Eye is even better thanks to her speed. Unshakeable is obviously nice since I no longer am one shot by stickies or Nader nades.
On the other hand, this game seems to want me to have Dreiss Kira super bad, and I'd kind of like to mix it up some.

- M4 is still very good.
- Timik is almost on par but has more recoil still.
- BR-16 is the best gun right now, with the Stark AR close behind.
-Thunder got buffed to a point where some argue he's overpowered.
- Phantom got a kind of buff having an AoE field that disables deployables.
- Generation 2 cards came out making sure that you get less shitty loadouts in trade ups.
- Meta cards from generation 1 are still in generation 2.
- There was an Aimee event about a murder suspect which was based on the mercs that people played the most. It had unique skins for all mercs.
- The culprit in the end was Proxy and she got her own special skin as well as Aimee getting her own special detective skin.
- If you paid money you could get an Obsidian Proxy skin. She has visible torture wounds from Aimee.
- They added Arsenal cases for leveling up which contain a variety of rewards like various hour credit boosters, 5-10 equipment cases, elite cases, expert cases.
- They added new benefits to new players, and give out a free gold skin for Aura and Skyhammer at level 7.
- They added a better tutorial and an assault course to teach about jumps and long jumping.

Something else I noticed is that if I play on EU servers, I sometimes only get a tiny fraction of the xp I've earned put towards the missions.
One game I nearly tripled the xp I needed to get, yet barely even got a 1/4 for the mission. The next game was even less. I didn't even get halfway despite earning 4-5 times what I needed.

Increases barrel spin up speed, so the way I understand it, you can spin up faster, but then the actual firerate is the same.

I hate the bugginess of the RNG. Sometimes it's nice, but it usually refuses to give you the one loadout you want. It doesn't always get stuck, but it often does. For instance, my Thunder RNG seems to be stuck on Stark and Timik loadouts. It takes me about 15 of any kind of trade to give me any LMG loadouts. Arty is currently bugged on D43 and B81. I get those cards so often. Thankfully that's nice since I love both cards. Stoker has also been bugged on T91 and M55, which are great loadouts. Kira is bugged on Dreiss. Red Eye is bugged on this one PDP loadout.
When I bought a 10 pack during the event, it gave me this. Really wanted to give me Rhino.

Having owned an Steyr AUG (it was dogshit, and the trigger was awful) I can tell you that the charging handle on it doesn't reciprocate. So that part is at least accurate. (Original AUGs also didn't have a burst mode like the Stark)

Boosters don't really make much of a difference since they only effect match credits. I'd say they'll only get you an extra 2-5k at most per day depending on how much you play.

I don't use my secondary often as a fire support, especially a fast one with DT, because i can just run and get ammo from my box or fixed points

I have a hard time seeing far away things in this game. I can't tell if I have bad eye sight or bad reactions to smaller objects, but people always shoot me first from far away. I really rely on game audio cues to tell where people are or where they are going. It helps me a ton and I frequently cut people off or surprise them thanks to it.

Rhinos die to Naders at medium range where they can't 2burst her with the minigun but get slapped down with two to three nades. The other thing that regularly kills Rhinos is lack of mobility and tunnel vision, by which I mean any kind of ordnance.

Rhino charging with shotguns also throws off a lot of better players because they aren't used to seeing a Rhino use his other guns. Better players always dismiss Rhino as shit, but then aren't used to fighting one who isn't retarded. Using your minigun against a burst rifle user is just asking for them to peek, burst, and repeat until you're dead. That's when I like to bait them to peek and start a peek fight with the shotgun. Shotgun usually wins when you bum rush.

You forget and many rhinos do as well that once nader is in the room with you, it's essentially game over if they fall at your feet. Most k/d whores won't want to do it, but I don't mind jihading a rhino as nader. Depending on their position you can breach with a full nade mag and dump your gun into them as they flee. Either that or they prefire the entrance and you fall at their feet with a good lunge. People also seem to forget Aimee and Vasseline are excellent against rhino given the proper circumstances.

How do I sparks? I just got her but can't seem to do anything with her. It seems to take too long to charge the reviver compared to just being close with bonez and his better healing/hp/weapons. P sure she's actually super good though and I'm just a level 7 scrub, so how should I be playing her.

She's the best medic for reviving and can out revive a sawbonez any day. He's better at healing. Sparks works best as a second medic working with someone like aura who keeps everyone healed.

My accuracy should be pretty decent, hovers between 40 and 60 with hitscan depending on the game. It's like 25 to 50 with projectiles depending on how comfortable I am with them and how much I spam.

Sawbones is by far the best medic to use in a push. His health packs will heal friendlies to full health and have a large hitbox so you can toss them on the move. He has access to a great selection of SMGs (Crotchni, SMG-9, Blistercock (close range damage spitter, laser beam, heavy hitting headshot cannon respectively)). Plus he has the highest health pool of any medic (although that isn't hugely important, it means you are a little tougher in a straight up fight)

There are plenty of solo carry mercs in pub games. Fragger and Thunder are some of the better ones since they have higher HP and abilities that are better for pushing and killing multiple people at once. You can solo carry with almost all of the mercs in this game in a pub match so it's silly for us to talk about it.

If you're implying fagger could do it better, and survive, you're simply delusional. All those times you've waited spun up you were sitting on an aura station I can guarantee (otherwise you're mini-gunning wrong) and a frag grenade won't down you instantly (only does 170 damage). You'll have 40-50 HP and climbing even if he immediately runs in; you're still at an advantage. The only effective way to down a pinned up rhino is to use angles and saturation. Don't get me wrong, fraggers nades have high alpha damage, but after that you're a 20hp higher skybro with a bigger hitbox.the splash damage of an arty strike can reach indoors in a lot of places on top of having a huge aoe for deployables such as health stations

Revved up Rhinos are really weak against burst rifles even on Aura stations. It won't heal the 50 HP he needs fast enough. That's why I resort to shotgun peeks as a Rhino if the same happens to me and I know that Fragger has a burst rifle.
You're the delusional one thinking that Arty can do everything Fragger can better. Arty is good at killing, mostly because burst rifles are currently overpowered. His strikes are good yes, but they become less and less effective the better the people you play against. At that level of play they are mostly area denial and EV killers. Sometimes, you can destroy Aura stations through walls. Meanwhile, Fragger's grenade is just as effective against good people because it can be cooked.

Because both redeye and kira cover the dreiss just fine, arty is essentially a slightly tankier kira with slightly tilted eyes, a penis, and a fire support ability that isn't adjustable but on shorter cool down. Plus he can't plop down an ammo station next to a healing station for the easy ex pee moneybux. Something to encourage aggressiveness for his class would be wonderful. Honestly the Dreiss is very powerful, it just suffers the most out of any gun from aimpunch. If there was a way to edit that stat, that it basically didn't suffer from aim punch much, it would be a good gun. As it is now though, anyone who shoots first when you have a Dreiss will basically mean you won't hit any of your shots.
The spread on the gun is interesting too. It basically barely suffers from sprinting and then firing. It also doesn't really suffer from jumping around with it. The problem is how much each shot jumps the spread up. If it was less each shot and instead of turning to shit around 4-5 shots, it turned to shit around 8-10 shots, it might be a great gun.
Also add a reflex site for gods sake. It's hard enough to aim long distance with it.

He's been seen with the Blistercock, Kek-10, and Rem7 (so this could be neat or awful). Tbh most weapons/mercs are good and with 2nd gen a lot of loadouts are viable. The only advice I can give is to not get a recon merc at the start as they required good map knowledge, and that the Dreiss is the only weapon I seriously recommend not using unless messing around.

Sparks is really shit against actually good and coordinated players because she's shit at combat and having revives that don't go through 80% of the time due to the longer time to stand up compared to defibs isn't worth it. I'd rather play Blishlok Aura, which has a disadvantage at 80 HP but can still actually win duels reliably.

What is balance to you? Let's use an example from Overwatch. Zenyatta the healer was consistently picked in all 6 slots in the very early comp games, because they could keep his healing buff and damage buff up on everyone at literally all times. The solution blizz chose was to nerf Zen. It was very effective in stopping people from using that method, but now Zen is virtually unusable in pub matches. A perfect case of balancing for the 1% of matches causing problems for the other 99%.

Thunder with the MK46 has been my favorite merc when I'm stuck with a really weak team and I need to basically kill everyone. His buffs have just made him that much better at doing that.

Arty was my first main and highest played merc. Dreiss is one of my favorite and most used weapons. It's not great, but it's satisfying to use.

Unshakeable by it self is decent. Tough is better, and very strong now. Unshakeable combined with Tough helps save you a lot of chip damage from all kinds of explosives which this game is filled with. You save yourself around 12-15 HP most of the time with Unshakeable, and Tough kicks in almost immediately. In most cases that gives you an extra 2-3 hits.
Both things help you go off on your own more without a medic.

Just gonna say take all the Arty recs with a grain of salt. He's good, but he's also super popular on here, more situational than other mercs, and one of those characters who doesn't fit everyone's playstyle.
You also already own Skyhammer who can do most things Arty can (not as well obviously since Skyhammer's a generalist while Arty is more specialized) so if you're missing a character to fill some niche like health pack healer, deulist, engie, or even recon/sniper you should definitely get one of them before getting Arty.
