I'm considering giving Baal the Light Swordsman's active (6 turn, heart->light, 3 turn unbind) for my Saria/Thor team.
The shitty REM swordsmen and fairy tale girls actually seem really useful for this kind of stuff.

People like to shit on her after the advent of x100 and x144 leads, but she can still clear a significant portion of the game. Her combo playstyle is arguably one of the funner ones in PAD, too.

I have two more BSonias (seriously. 4 in total, though only two are leveled) also have Sumire to swap in/out, usually for no dupes.
I feel that I&I are mostly just there for their damage boost, and I usually don't even use it in shorter dungeons. Even though she has a nice 2 rows and 2 TPAs (TPA especially being more useful now that BSonia activates with only 4 water orbs) I still think I might benefit from putting her active on someone else and sticking another Sonia in her place.

And where does shota Bastet really shine? No RCV or HP multipliers, and what one can assume is a rather high combo requirement, and not very dong friendly. Awoken Bastet is still pretty good (allegedly) because she can shit easy damage. That's her niche. Higher requirements of orbs and combos is something that other monsters already do.

The awoken form is only better for doing good lazy damage with both a single prong match and skill use at 5/6 combo.
Shota has the hidden advantage that he can inherit real skills (Board changers, Australis, etc) on Bastet and give no fucks about the active requirement.

The 3 turn 100% damage void is to avoid getting fucked over by illsix followed by DQ Hera.
You don't need two delays or any partial damage reduction. Your HP will be massive and so will your RCV. You'll be able to tank most attacks and stall for whatever skills you want to be back online for as long as you want.
If you plan on doing random easy dungeons, SI won't really matter. You just stall and kill.

Well, kinda. Mostly if you fuck up Ilsix at <50% into DQ in the Arena, but it's also just nice to have for other bullshit Dark types. Raph is honestly fine too, but the longer time that you have to stall could screw you, while on the other hand only having an answer to Dark could screw you. It's pretty much up to you to decide what's worth it in the end.I also sold my Genie... but it's okay, PCGF is light gala so I'll probably be swimming in the shitters

Hold onto the REM rolls, the evo materials that you haven't been able to get yourself (if you can't clear the weekday dungeons yet, it'll be most of them), the chocobo, and the moogle.
