What's up with the new DG rec blocks? There's a seperate section so that only friends can rec now, but there's no face/hair and body options. It can't be following the general settings because if you turn that on it'll allow randoms to rec.
Also is anyone other non tie-upper receiving a ton less medals in the event? I'm getting about 1-3 in each handout during non-fever, normally it should be at least 3-5. It's taking me forever to get to each 10 medal charm increase.

You should put in at least half of your tickets to try for the initial tie-up. Even though we can catch up to under rank 600 with the second x3 after having no tie-up during the first half, having double points with the original tie-up throughout the whole event helps, more so if you roll two x2s and exchange them into an x3 after midway. Plus you may roll the original x2 even though the x3 has a boosted drop rate after midway. I've rolled it in that situation before.

I consider mine to be 2D robots given by AMB that I use to simulate the behavior of characters from other games. Because that's what they are. When discussing personalities, preferences, etc., I refer directly to the characters being simulated rather than the 2D robot infrastructure. Analogy: I would say "This a dress", not "This is a mannequin modeling a dress," much like I say "She is an elf," not "This is a 2D robot that I use to roughly simulate a 3D elf." The framework is there, but it's simply not relevant to me. This way, even though I primarily refer to my characters as non-robot races, I'm still aware of the robot framework and accept recs as a normal part of the gameplay.

Forgot to mention, chrome used to crash a lot using likesweep on its own, but now I just get page could not load errors even with it off. No idea why, but I suspect something about memory usage. I've also recently started getting the memo page not loading fully and halting the footprint checker because of it after the latest update. They made things weird with the new recommendation settings at DG. So far from seeing what happens from receiving the recs of our 2 autoplayers it seems that turning the friend rec block off while your other blocks are on allows friends to do recAlls. And when the friend block is on while my usual body block is off, it allows friends to do rec costume normally.
Can another friend stop by and tell us what you see it allows to be rekt on Dior? She now has both the general body block and friend block off. I'm thinking AMB forgot to add the distinction between body and face for the friend block section so it may still appear as letting you do a recAll on her.

I doubt anyone knew, or if they did they were glad it was so easy. If anyone read the info on what group work does in the FAQ prior to the fix, then "the length of time" work takes could be interpreted as having been finished by the time we went and claimed our daily shells. I didn't even read the groups FAQ until now, which is outdated since they don't have info on group closet expansion, and the study+closet info under the Expansions sections still has "coming soon!" AMB probably caught it themselves.
The fix doesn't bug me. If you're short on Shells just let me buy and send you Ns, no strings attached. Even after the recent synthesis I went back to the max shell limit today and had to buy a Dream Box roll. If one has obtained all or most of what they want in the limited shop, shell gacha, and dream box then there's nothing new in DG we can buy except when synthesis or limited shell clothes arrive. We can't dump the game's currency to gain another currency like CAN/JIN since the equivalent doesn't exist in DG.
Btw can a Nizikano player tell us what the Raffle is? I saw this in the gacha help section, but it doesn't expand into an answer like the rest. Is it like FD's raffle, only temporary?
Fairies are super cute. AMB seems to have the most fun with their JPFD playerbase given all the attention they give to them. I guess they killed ENFD because they didn't have the resources to do the same or something.

From what I gather, the way AMB user strings work is they look for four key terms (the things separated by slashes) and the ID string. This is as small as I could get it before it stopped working AMBITION_UA/GooglePlay/Android-/FAIRYDOLL_ver23:
Unlike MCC, it seems to search specifically for "FAIRYDOLL_ver##" with the proper version number in ##. I think the other games such as DG are the same. Don't have HD or AB so I can't confirm. MCC doesn't even look for anything beyond the first three terms, which is why you can have a version-independent string there.

I actually went from 5 to 22 initially, then went and found a download for it and did the whole packet capture thing just to find it was 23. Another thing is in the play store, ENFD is labeled as version 1.0.3 but the string requires 04. JPFD in the store is version 1.1.9 but the string uses 23. I have no idea how that happens, unless they update the game without updating the version number for some reason.

Charm simply quickens your pace at progressing each level since it gives you more points per step, and the levels require points for progression. More levels means more total stamina and more total points, so the stamina increase balances out the stamina usage increase per step. The only reason you wouldn't want to purchase charm is if you want to save those medals for more gacha rolls. Since tie-ups increase charm (points) per step it also gives you more medals, since the more charm you have the more medals may be handed out. Normally saving medals for rolls isn't needed whether you had a tie-up or not. But since we're generally getting only 1 fucking medal per handout now, that may be what you'd want to do if you want to collect everything in the gacha plus have high rarity dupes for Synth.
Please protest this change to AMB's support form. It's ridiculous. I would've had the early clear and bought all charms over several hours ago. Maybe it's even a bug, because I don't recall them saying they'd make events hardmode in the announcement.

The immediate answer seems to be yes, but as for if it'd then lead to overtaking the others, I'm not sure about that. It gets more complicated with tie ups multiplying both charm and medals. It gets worse with fevers, which seem to give the same range of medals as before.
Also, the thing about more charm equaling more medals is wrong. Higher charm doesn't seem to affect the rate at which a step grants medals, or the medals you get when you do get some, even though you cover more of a stage with each step. This means in a given amount of time, someone with high charm and someone with low charm would have the same amount of chances to gain medals and at the same rate, assuming each step takes the same stamina. That assumption is where the viability of the strategy lies. People further on need more stamina for each chance to gain medals, and since stamina in a fixed time period is capped, they'll have less chances.

Sorry, I meant the main gacha tie-ups, not the event gacha tie-ups. The event gacha tie-ups only boost charm and don't do any multiplying at all. I guess if you want to be really proper, event gacha things would be Link Bonus Clothes and the things from the main gacha would be Event Linked Avatars.
Also to clarify, I think I've been seeing the same range of medal gets in the fevers I've had as fevers from previous events. I haven't really paid too much attention though, so I could have just missed one and miscounted my medals.

But, of course, even if your total Stam increases, the rate at which you gain it is the same. It's just simply the case that you get more steps in a shorter amount of time if you progress in the stages as slowly as possible.

The Fevers double the amount of medals you can get, as always. Since the range without Link Bonuses this time is 1-3, Fevers give you 2-6.

Oh ok. I thought I saw 6 but also thought the max you could get normally was 2 medals, so I thought they were more than doubling medals. I wonder if that actually means it's better to skip them since more stage progress means potentially less chances to get medals. But you also get double medals for the same stamina. I think it ends up being you can get more medals now but make it harder later. The deciding factor would be if it's worth the increase in stamina/steps if you progress a stage. And luck, of course. I'd guess it would be worth it beyond the first few stages, but within the first few stages it might be better to skip fevers.

Then it must be tie-ups that increase medal handouts. I get double to triple more than normal with one. I don't pay much attention but assumed by the time I had a ton of charm via purchases and post-midway event gacha tie-ups I got more medals after that point since that's as good as early stage tie-ups.
