I've been missing my game so much, but it's been two years since I've played last. I had the perfect town, with the best villagers, everything I'd ever wanted... Everything was flawless. But if I try to play now, obviously everything's going to be fucked. Should I reset and make a new town, /acg/?

As you mentioned you can set the internal clock of your 3DS back to the last day you played, just check your activity log first to be sure of the date. Also every time you log with one of your characters the game saves your data so don't check your town before time traveling backwards.

I just started playing this game last night, so today is my first day of Animal Crossing ever. And it is already my favorite game.

Guiyz, I literally have autism when it comes to naming my characters or anything in video games. I don't know what the problem is. I've deleted end-game characters just because I didn't like the name much anymore, despite spending hours nonstop thinking it up. Of course now I can come up with an original name in roughly one hour.

I'm especially obsessive when it comes to naming because I'll say it HAS to start with a certain letter. It used to be C, then D, and now it's L (Laviette, Lankt, and Lore for instance).

My first town (Laviette) was perfect town status all the time. I had so, so many Jacob's Ladders I actually had to start selling them.
I was completely happy with the town, and yet because of the fucking name of my mayor, I reset it. It's still in the top 5 of my most regretted decisions in life.
