How on earth do I catch a spider? Besides being attacked by tarantulas, is there any tell-tale sign or method which where I can catch one?
Or should I just shake all my trees till one pops out? For reference it is 7:08pm in my village.
What is in your opinion, the true goal in Animal Crossing? And what things can you do to reach this unreachable goal?
Personally i believe the goal of animal crossing is to do as many creative little things that have no bearing, if only to believe for a second that it somehow affects the game. For example, visiting animals homes has no real effect on anything, but its just seems nice to see your villager in their little home.
Other things:
Selling sea shells, if only to remember that a tiny amount of bells can build up over time.
Carrying an umbrella, if only to remember not every item needs to do something.
Putting a piece of random furniture somewhere that clashes, if only to remember not everything needs to be harmonious.
Catching a fish and releasing it, because you don't need to complete your museum all at once.
Planting a sapling, because just because a tree doesn't bear any fruit, doesn't make it worthless.

I don't think there really is a true goal in regards to end goal to Animal Crossing. Its more what you take from it personally.
Some see it as a heavy time investment like the Sims where you lose yourself in the game, others just pick up and play.
For me personally the goal is to make a small village and have fun interacting with your fun little animals and just relax. Its one of the few games I can say is comfy and that I genuinely play out of pure enjoyment rather than some formula.

I think the game doesn't have a true goal.
Making your town the way you want it, acquiring every special NPC, making the perfect house, collecting every item in the game, completing the museum, receiving every badge, those are also goals that you as a player can choose to accomplish if you wish, although not mandatory.
Some may come with other goals, like making specific clothing designs.
You have to make your goals.
Arguably, you could finish the game by accomplishing every goal I just mentioned. This includes having all possible villager pictures in the whole game. I don't think you can legitimately do that alone without spending years of constant playing. You could accomplish that goal easier by trading with other players for those pictures.

Use the perfect ones for requests. Gave you some normal cherries so you can have that type of fruit.
You may already know this but only the native town's fruit can grow as perfect. Planting a foreign perfect fruit will make it a normal type.

Wednesday and Thursday are the days when most people with Large and Small Spike patterns have good turnip prices.
Also, turnip prices change two times per day. Once in the morning when Re-Tail opens and once in the afternoon after 12 PM.
Check some guides if you wanna know more. It's the best way to get a lot of money without putting too much effort.

Depending on how many flowers you have/what kinds it may be easier to just store some where they're safe and replant when you get another 10th and not bother with resetting.
I just finished resetting my random 9th villager, and she popped up in an amazing spot. It helps if the way your town is set up makes their options for location limited (rocks, PWPs, cliffs).
Anyone have some spare bush starts, bamboo shoots or saplings?
Also, any non-island fruit (not bananas, coconuts, etc.) would be great.

Pretty funny, probably my waifu of the villagers this go round. I once walked in while she was sleeping standing up (which is a thing horses do), and thought that was super cute. Although my favourite "horse" villager is Savannah.

I also really like kangaroo villagers. Hopefully I'll get a hold of Mathilda in this game one day. I found her hilarious in the original game. As for Marcie, she's like a more stable version of Ruby and Annalise. Pretty cute tbqh famalam. Oddly enough though, I've been looking for her, but haven't seen her for a few days. If I didn't know any better I'd say she died.
