I mean yeah, Onlywatch costs 40 bucks / 60 bucks, but post-purchase.
There's going to be no custom content, no new weapons, and they swear no new playable content in terms of heroes. With no custom servers, the game's on a ticking time-bomb for lasting and being alive, too. Even then, skins are only going to be but so potent for cash..it's a fucking FPS. You can't even see the skin unless there's taunts!

That's good news. In the beta I've seen teams try the character stacking to mixed results. There always seems to be a counter if a team commits too hard to one strategy. If a team has two sames on their team then that's not a problem. It seems better to have some diversity on your team to be able to handle different situations.

A good Genji can 1v3 and win. Capable of murdering any hero 1v1.
Widowmaker, when played right, can turn a 1-second window of opportunity in 2-3 kills on the enemy team with headshots, from a massive distance.
Zenyatta does huge damage and offers good team utility but if you can't aim them spheres he's trash.
McCree and Tracer are both noob-friendly because of the large amount of control they give. You're an idiot if you can't kill people with flashbang + fan the hammer, or if you die with recall off cooldown.

Caps make balancing much easier because you don't have to deal with those situations where 1 pick of some hero is weak/okay in balance but stacking it is too strong.
