I have a simalar issue from time to time, I assumed it was me overloading how many textures and shit skyrim/my computer has to handle so it "drops" some. It's a legitimate technical problem. Sometimes when there isn't enough VRAM to hold all the textures some of them show up entirely black. At least in Skyrim, I'm not sure if it happened in Morrowind or Oblivion.
Either way I never have that problem because when I do play Skyrim I don't go past 1K textures. Then again I game on toasters.

The problem is, whenever I have the bikini equipped, if I try to equip the thong, it unequips the bikini. If I equip the bikini again, it unequips the thong. So my option is to go bare bottomed, or bare topped.

I've only played Oblivion and Skyrim so don't know/don't remember if it was something made up on the fly for Dawnguard or existed a long time in the lore, but the Soul Cairn is where most, if not all souls used for enchantments go (for the last 1000 years or something, to do with the daedra who first made black soul gems, that are illegal to own/use in lore, and are corruptions of regular ones) after the soul gem breaks. All the human ones anyway. It's not so horrific for a plane of Oblivion but not pleasant either.
Only soul trap necromancers or the niggerist of bandits or the niggers of the animal world like bears. Damn bears are driving me crazy.

they stay there until the soul gem is used in an enchantment, at which point they are inside the object they were enchanted to. All souls get recycled in the end of the klpa anyway, unless someone zero-summed

I'm not sure tb'h. I remember the Soul Cairn as a thing in the timeline in Skyrim is said to have only been around for about 1000 years. There are a few people in their claiming to have been in their for 200 years or more so far. They say they feel something is being leached from them by the ideal masters they can't quite figure out, and it's distressing all the time, or they're just going insane with boredom mostly.

It says in game that they're trapped in the gem until it's used, and they aren't actually bound to the weapon/armour piece that's enchanted, that's when they go to the Soul Cairn, and that this has only happened for 1000 years and before that they went somewhere else. Probably just to where they go if they aren't soul trapped.

Go to the Brothers of Markhu monastery, and from there reach a place called Malada. At the end of that you deactivate the red barrier, which also triggers the Greymarch (white crystals will appear all over the map and Jyggalag's minions will spawn and attack you everywhere you go until you defeat Jyggy).
