What? I didn't say anything about Unicorn. I'm well-aware that Unicorn uses the original attack, but the fact that Sorcerer boosts every Performapal to the aformentioned attacks means they won't have trouble getting over anything even when you don't have Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon itself. The Unicorn boost is just a bonus and helps secure OTKs, but you'll more often than not have the other ones because they're more searchable (being Performapals).

I use Kong over Partnaga. Both are level 5's for Ignister when combined with the Tuners, but Kong is a 2scale. Considering I run way too many Level 3's, having that 3 scale can be deadly.
Kong's attack boost in the scale is worse than Naga's but it at least lets me R3 spam and Synchro harder.
I don't run Totem Bird since what the R3's are doing 99% of the time is destroying a problem monster or spell before going into a pendulum summon, or as monster removal after I've used my Lizardraws/Eccentricks and they've just been pendulum summoned back. I run a bunch of non-Wind Level 3's, and I'd rather not use a slot on a R3 I'd rarely summon.

Based on what we've seen in Japan, the Basic ratios for any BEWD deck are: 3 vanilla, 3 Alternative, 1-2 Dragon Spirit of White, 3 Sage Knight, 2-3 Ancient Stone (overlords love 3, I just use 2), 1-2 White Stone of Legend, 2-3 Twin Twisters, 3 Trade-In, 3 Gospel, 3 Melody, and 1-3 Effect Veilers. The rest depends on what type of build you are running. I personally run a few of the cult members (Maiden/Priest/Light Shrine), 3x Galaxy Soldier to make Infinity, as well as Arkbrave, Felgrand, and Irritum for additional plays. This build has worked for me, but doesn't fit everyone's style. The OCG players like to put in 2-3 Cards of Consonance, Dragon Shrine, Silver's Cry, and Maxx C, and it appears to be working for them. Some have even tried splashing a few Manjus with Chaos MAX and Chaos form. It all depends on what type of BEWD you want to play.
For the extra deck, recommended ratios are 2-3 Spirit Dragons, 1-2 Azure Dragons, a Crystal Wing, some level 7 light dragons to float into, and good rank 8s like 62, FA, 95, and 38.
Look around on ygodr and try a few of the builds there. If you feel comfortable, tweak it a little like tripfagslayer once you discover ways to make it work for you.
