It gives some okay stats and range, which is something Weaver can benefit from since he's arguably more vulnerable because he's short-ranged compared to most other ranged heroes. Of course, the main pro comes the active. You can not only use it as a Force Staff to bail yourself or your teammates out of a bad situation, but using on the other team is so fucking good because of the no range limit. It allows you to play very aggressive by going deep, Hurricane Pike them, then ult out. This allows you to finish off whoever you dived in for without overstaying your welcome, or going after another target from a safe distance. It also allows you to gank for reasons stated; a normal Weaver build requires you to finish off the job for a successful gank then Sukuchi or ult and hope it's enough distance away from any potential reactions from enemies. With Hurricane Pike you just find the target, maybe get one auto attack off (Geminate procs for a second one), then Pike and ult out. No time is given for a response, you're already out of the jg, and you can keep attacking them for 4 hits, which should be enough on a mid-game Weaver.
It's a really good mid game item to have, preferably after damage items. It's also hilarious to watch how people react to being killed across the map by auto attacks.

You lose out on some mana regen and a considerable amount of damage from vlad's, but you're much more resistant to ganks, you get comparable regen to vlad's and it frees up a slot since you want to go abyssal anyway. You can arguably even skip heart if one of your final items gives you decent strength.

Guys I can't master AM. I always feel like I am useless on that hero! There's usually a lot of fighting going on and I don't know how to contribute when I just have yasha, BF, treads.
