When I see CO running at me with a gun I happily go to them and knock them down, cast bastion take their gun and kill them. Then they post how OP guns are.
They are one of the single easiest things in the entire game to counter but the problem is that the playerbase does not want to play PvP. they do not want to fight. They want their items to make their numbers higher and fun eludes them.
There are actual players who cannot comprehend the fun in killing 20+ retards attacking a pig for 15 prestige. That is the state of gaming in general and its not really a problem with just BnS.

Who wants to PvP when it ultimately just means that someone is gonna pop some resists and SS into friendly terrors? Wow, so fun. Most people play with hide characters on because the game is an unplayable piece of shit in SSP when you have 40 people wailing at a terror. You can't expect to dodge the terror aoes at 10 FPS.
It's not that people don't want to fight the gunners, it's just pretty fucking hard when you can't even target them thanks to CTRL+F.
That said, I rarely even bother with SSP. I just do the dailies and fuck off. It's not PvP.

I dont do the dailies on my CL character because with CTRL+F on I can see the guns floating around under name bars and I patrol the sides disrupting people. I dont get anything for it but thats fun. The problem with the game design is that just regular PvP gives nothing. If i got zen beans for killing people in over world or others did based on some numbers or shit or diminishing returns (Exploiting is pretty impossible to stop but you get my point) that would solve it.

Its the same with terrors, you can very easily dive past them ALONE as a summoner and if you have a friend with you the players under the terrors can be killed without a problem. The chinese players do it to me all the time and this is another part of it. You have to invest time into doing something that doesnt directly benefit YOU.

At no point are you 100% safe to walk up on people (especially battle phase) unless people are not paying attention. Which they usually are not.
If it's a single person with a gun, it takes one person with cc to keep them off the group (multiple FMs or LBMs will guarantee one person's demise because of phantom grip). The funniest part is that even after I snatch 100+ prestige off multiple people with guns, they continue to go on trying to grind like nothing happened and give me gigantic blindspots to approach from.

Not me, but I had no trouble at all getting drops/prestige on blue even on awakened accessories and tpirate as a des. I had to put a little thought into how to deal with some terror specials and grindtooth, but I never had issues after that.
I switched because I like open pvp, Hallucination is dead in that regard, and it's a hell of a lot easier to find fights when you're on the smaller faction. The only thing I don't like about red is that none of the guilds here have interested me but neither did any of the ones on blue either.

I'm personally not one of those Crimson to Ceruleans you mentioned, and I put up a fight (and even welcome it) when Crimson show themselves in SSP.
