Sunsingers are the "cheese" class in Trials because lol Self rez. Stormcaller is awesome in pve, Void is good all around in both pve and pvp. I wouldnt say Warlocks are the no skill class thats reserved for Hunters, lol.
Warlocks are about synergy with your abilities and super. Pve is pretty ez in this game, if you run Nightfall or Raid you might want to run Sunsinger for the rez because it allows you to be reckless. I say pve is ez because its 80% gunskill (using any class) and 20% use of your class abilities/super.
