To be robust you need three things
To click tiles next to you instead of trying to actually aim for the guy, and you also need to remember that clicking the general tile is not enough, you need to click the sprite
Learn basics of CQC, disarm, bash into windows, if you punch punch into mouth (same damage as head plus chance to knock teeth out) or groun
And have good internet

I was the HoS, sorry for lasering you. I really wish I hadn't 2bh, it didn't even accomplish anything in the end. The AI was a horrible fucking shit and had no idea what it was doing, and I was getting frustrated beyond belief, I thought that it might finally let us out if its borg needed repairs, since clearly it wasn't responding to any of its actual laws.
I was going to make sure you got repaired too, but then I got caught up in a fucking mess of ahelps and my entire sec team dying to a vampire. Sorry man
