So I finally finished the first route for Sweet Clown, Mitsuhara.
He has big ears in his sprite.
Other than that, it was good. Though I hated him for at least half of his route.
But I'm a bit confused about the ending.Did they really just get home because Zakuro 'stopped hiding and started acting', or something along those lines? Seems like bullshit and a boring end to me.
My moon skills aren't the best, so maybe I understood something important wrong.
That aside, the extra mode of the game is great. A BGM player (with repeat mode!), a background image album, countdown voices, and profiles? Fucking amazing, I wish all companies would include this stuff. Also, some BGM tracks are really great.
And I'm glad I can finally go for Kuze. I wanted to just ditch thatunstablefaggot Mitsuhara whenever he popped up. Such a great guy.

I've finally gotten around to it myself thanks to recent anons here playing it and the sudden surge of content its getting in Japan, and it's very story centric so far with politics, military lingo, archaic vocab in general and hence difficult if that's why you're asking.
On another note, I remember this title getting ripped on here as the worst thing ever a few years ago but it seems completely fine so far. I'm kind of confused about that unless it turns upside down at some point. I'm glad that people grasped his characterisation/relationship with Kyoichiro and the concept behind it. If you know nip you can try it out. First game is kinda boring but it's the only good game the princes have, All Star is nice and the fandisk for that is neat too. In the end Utapri's otome elements are an acquired taste, even if I think All Star is better than average.
The anime is stupid but if you're up for that, then might as well try it too.

Also, like someone else said, the characters (and the setting) are definitely the main draw. I hadn't cared as much as I did for characters in either BL or otome for a long, long time and there wasn't even a worst boy.

I tried out the first game a bit, and it's really not for me. Too boring.
The only character I really like is himecut.
Since it's a game focused on the characters, not the plot, there's no meaning to playing routes of characters I don't like.
I just want to listen to the songs the whole day. Maybe I should get one of the rhythm games, but I don't really like the system they use.

Bocchi Musume Produce Keikaku. It was notable for me in that they kept the humor even in the nominally serious scenes and it was actually laugh out loud for me. No drama, just Ema and co. fumbling on their way to the top while being idiots.
It also has the option to turn off the sex if you don't like that stuff.
