I played 600 hours of BB and was bored of DaS3 week 2 of JP release. There's not actually much variety of things to do in this game.
There's either Quality/Pure Int/Pure Fai or Luck builds and only a few actual good weapons, all boss ones being total shit.
You could run an entire bloodborne build just for one weapon to master it. That's not the case here.
You level to 40/40, you use every weapon in the videogame as well as each other. R1 spam is king.

Not sure if anyone else knows about this or has posted it before, but I found a really great place to farm souls and some items.
It's in Farron Keep, Keep Ruins bonfire.
You simply run out from the bonfire and there are three goat people enemies, two with spears and shields, and one is a mage. Kill them, they drop Heavy Gems, Titanite Shards, Poison Gems, Wolf's Blood Swordgrass, and Rotten Pine Resin.
Drops are pretty damn ample, I usually get at least 1 item every 3 kills. Once you kill them the bonfire is right there so you just reset and continue. Probably get around 100k souls every 40 minutes or so.

You can't hide the fact you can damage the host, nor can you hide you get damaged by the host, pretty soon people are going to correlate purple with "will stab me in the back when I need them most" and will either outright ignore purple signs or summon purples with the intent on just murdering them as soon as they appear
