Lrm spread increases with size. lrm5 spread doesn't warrant artemis use, 10 spread is fine but can profit from artemis, 15 somewhat needs artemis and 20 is just aweful.
Two lrm5s are one ton less than a lrm10, three lrm5s are also one ton less than one lrm15 and four lrm5 and two tons less than a lrm20. So the lrm is the most weigh efficient wih lrm15 secound, lrm10 third and 20 again last.
IS lurm deliver damage upfront (better) but clan lurm damage tapers of under minimal range unlike IS, which lose damage compleatly.
A minimum total of lrm20 is fine for a medium and 30 for a heavy. Don't boat lrms on a fucking assault unless it's an Awesome-8R.

On clams either 10s or 15s are workable, but 10s are preferred due to their low spread. Only a few can boat enough to make it worthwhile.
IS it depends mostly on the quirks. Hunch 4J uses 10s, Awesome 8R uses 15s, Archers and Cats use whatever. Never use lrms on an IS mech without decent missile quirks.

Hellbore Springs doesn't have a temperature flag for some reason.
The effect on heat accumulation is simply additive. If the level's temperature is 0.5 (e.g. Terra Therma) then it adds 0.5 heat per second to your mech - offsetting the dissipation of 5 single heat sinks. It also affects your heat cap in some strange way that I can't remember.

MWO was, and is just a game. A conduit.
Games help pass the time, they allow for better inter-group dynamics and creation of the esprit de corps; it is with this that ultimately gave Kong its flavor - not MWO.
If MWO was what was so important then everyone who stopped playing MWO years ago (myself included) would have stopped attempting to interact with you people. Clearly that isn't the case, and clearly SC isn't what is tying us together either as none of us have even touched PU in 3+ months since it is not relevant. It's a talking point, just like MWO. It's something we can focus on, just like MWO.
The problem though is that MWO is a dead-end, and that's why I've moved on.

There was never an issue when we went to Ventrilo.
There was never an issue when we went to Mumble because I let the Ventrilo die.
The only issue arose when I returned, heard about the rift that formed my absence due to personality differences between a few people in Kong.
We ultimately went to Discord because it is a better program, a strong program, and a free program. We created a MWO channel the very day that the Discord was created.
And I even got Kaelus to capitulate control of the Discord because of the very reason that I was informed of from multiple people (Dudebot, Ian, etc.) - some people from there did not like him.
I fixed the imagined issue, there is no further excuses that can be given. Time to come back to the fold.
