1) the players who log in to a near dead guild chat and simply play the game, fading into the background
2)the players who all join a voice chat, forming relationships with each other and placing priority on the people who join said voice chat in regards to group invites, etc

No one will be enforcing anything software-related for the guild.
As I've stated, it will mostly be a casual guild, there won't even be a need for VOIP for the vast majority of the time.
No one actually uses VOIP in the group.
It's primary function right now is for a music channel, you can just turn it off if you don't like weeb music.
I personally dislike the notion of VOIP, I've never used it, probably never will.
tl;dr it's a glorified chatroom, no one actually talks in there.
