The mechanics are fun and I think they realized that a lot of the mechanics in gordias were garbage for people outside of JP (Passing Debuffs in A3S/Tethers in A4S and A3S etc) and that numbers are boring as fuck to wipe to.
A6S was the biggest shitter check for us, everything else has been pretty steady prog. A7S wasnt bad and A8S is just learning the long as fuck dance, The DPS check is literally non existent until the final phase and the healing isnt too bad either.

DPS or Healer based on equipping a particular broken half of a single job crystal
DPS side is a melee that can also hard cast a magic rotation, with each side giving stacks that enhance the other, eg a melee combo action giving a stack that makes an instant cast, like MCH ammo meets Firestarter.

Heavensward dragoon is probably the longest rotation of any. You get 1 new skill, so a 4 step rotation (TT>VT>FT + Wheeling/Fang)
