that's what is strange. the last private server i remember blizzard going after so directly like this is wowscape, and that was because they were making hundreds of thousands of dollars a month in donations. nost was not taking donations for a long time, and then went out of their way to separate themselves from the donations to ensure nost staff wouldn't be able to profit.

Druid leveling is pretty comfy, it becomes pretty smooth at 20 when you get cat form.
Tanking is easy, spam maul and swipe, roar whenever it's not up
for 5 mans they might even be more preferrable than warrs to tank most of the time, though in raids a warr will most likely always tank bosses over a druid, some exceptions here and there for example some bosses that do hexes

If you want to level up fast, get 5 in corruption, then get shadowburn and put the rest into affliction til you get siphon and curse of exhaustion.
If you want to world PvP, get 5 in corruption, get shadowburn and go down in demonology til you get to master summoner.
Put the rest wherever.
Also, you need gear to pvp as a warlock or be more efficient in grinding, so do a lot of dungeons.

Remember how the Nost devs claimed that the reason they ran the server was because they really loved WoW? I think that's why they're not trying too hard (visibly) to bring it back. The entire staff was extremely competent. Look at their homepage now. I think they have a bold plan on how they're going to move forward.

I'm a fucking loser tho and have kept up on most of the legion news. It doesn't sound as godawful as most people here would claim, but it does sound pretty fucking boring and shitty. WoD 2.0 basically. The story sounds ok, minus some stupid shit, artifacts sound really stupid but functionally kind of fun (if that even makes sense), and the questing/zones for 90-100 look great, if streamlined and easy - but that's never the big issue anyhow.
The bigger deal is the further pruning just generally, reducing many specs to literally 3 button mashing. A lot of interesting abilities get added from the artifact shit, which basically is another talent tree, but it's still weird and gay.
All in all, it looks fun for the first month and then poop. But like I said, I think most anyone who was considering buying legion already sort of assumed all of that.
Class halls ARE garrisons 2.0 but not as essential as much as they complete/continue/start story quest stuff. But functionally definitely garrisons 2.0 (but garrisons lite, wee).
As for me I'm hoping the pvp is fixed but i have zero hopes.
I also doubt anyone gives a shit what I type about it.

For solo leveling in vanilla the most optimal way to go is demo until 40, then affliction using your imp (always phased) to 60. Dark pact is by far the most efficient leveling skill in the game. You can kite multiple mobs around and never go oom. Once you get 60, go destro because of debuff cap.

That's because it's not a proper 'character auction house'. It's an account transfer feature.
You negotiate the deal outside the game and then trade the character through the website.
That way the admins get a cut from your deal.
