I can tell since there aren't horrible graphical errors like the last time I tried to emulate Doom 64
>>
>>137923641

Doom 64 has a recreation for PC called Doom 64 EX.
>>
Hey for the BladeSoft plugin, since I want to mess around with it, do I just download the sendspace file on the Wiki and put that in my Syswow 64 and System 32 of my computer right? I'm not one hundred percent sure what I need to do.
>>
>>137923058
Is this you? Or were just on some runner's stream or something?

What do you guys think of the weird new direction byuu is taking Higan in where he is removing the fast cores and is going to add a bunch of new stuff that makes the main accuracy core like 500% slower due to emulating entirely pointless facets of the SNES that were never used by any retail SNES game
>>
>>137926842
Sounds like he went full shader cache stuttering. Truly the Dolphin devs' extremist stance has influenced an already on edge lunatic to go even further.

Wow, fuck you MAMEdevs.

The new version just gives me 60 errors when I try to launch it, and I have to OK them all.

Do they even test their fucking releases anymore?

Why would you update MAME? They'll break your entire romset and you have to waste another 400 gigs of bandwidth downloading it all again

Man, I can't think of how it's even possible to suck that hard at a game designed for children. Can you imagine him playing a competitive game?
>>
Does Zettai Zetsumei Toshi 3 work on PPSSPP or PS3 yet?
>>
>>137935610
Because my version was getting too old.

That, and they broke my patches.

At least they fixed the fucking winpcap problem.
>>
>>137920136
It's not like it would be that easy to emulate even if there was enough dev interest in it though.

How do I get Dolphin to support Surround Sound? I don't mean actually outputting through all 5.1 (or in my case, 4) speakers, I just want audio to work. Basically, if I have Windows use anything more than two speakers, I get an error that says "OpenAL: Can't find sound devices." Doesn't matter what game it is. When I set it back to two speakers it works fine.

Like I said, I don't even want Dolphin to take advantage of my extra speakers. I just want to not have to reconfigure my audio driver every time I launch and exit Dolphin.

This is the most pathetic thing I've ever read. After hearing Egoraptor's thoughts on OoT, and now this, I'm starting to think that the only people who don't like it and prefer ALttP are people who are just trash at video games, or autistics.

Hell, I remember beating OoT before I turned 10.

How does changing discs work for PSOne? Are you only supposed to do it when you get the notification? I tried to cycle through discs in Mednafen but the game just freezes.
>>
>>137941210

On the real console you can only do it when a game tells you to do it. Changing discs in the middle of a game won't start the new one and will make the current game crash the next time it tries to fetch data from the CD.

Not sure how it works on mednafen though.

>those install instructions

python is always such a fucking nightmare as an enduser

Also, I'm not sure what this shit even is.
>>
>>137949536

Those are pretty straightforward instructions but they're obviously debian/ubuntu specific.
>>
>>137949682
Yeah, but why the fuck do I need to install all this shit to play a game in RA?

Python projects are always like that.
>>
>>137949859

I think it's mostly because it builds on top of simplescreenrecorder somehow. It seems that it monitors the screen's output and then simulate a controller using uinput.

If it was in C you could just get rid of the python-uinput dependency, the rest is not language-specific.

Are you saying that I'm wrong or that i'ts retarded to do it that way?

In the first case then I don't understand what simplescreenrecorder does, in the latter I think it's pretty cool, it plays like a human.

Because with such low res textures, it's easy to show filter differences.

Jinc needs work for some textures it's better for example hair or tunic but for others like stone walls it looks like shit.

Well, I think it brings more details from the textures. Sometimes it isn't desired, yes. Sometimes you only needs a blurred texture.

Can anyone who uses Demul tell me the difference between the DX11old and DX11NG plugins? I'm using old at the moment because NG makes Soul Calibur have scanlines but I think that can be fixed so I'm wondering if NG is better in some way.
