We have these massive amounts of people playing but only a select amount of games like LoL, Dota (I don't care about MOBAs at all) and CSGO, but then we have so many games now the audience is really splintered between all these different weird things.
We seeing a big focus on multi now too with the endless stream of EA survival games, which sound kinda cool in theory and would have probably blown my 13 year old mind but I've found now I'm just not really interested in any of that stuff, but that could also be because they're all unfinished.
Also multi is becoming an even bigger focus with things like Destiny and The Division embracing it in a big way, which is cool but it depends if those games are up your alley.

I'll likely have to spend the rest of my life after that working some job i probably wont enjoy. I'm fucking terrified that the life i have now wont be able to go on. I know i wont have an easy time making new friends, i'm spending time on fucking 4chan after all. Sometimes when it all hits me like a brick wall, i feel short of breath. I have no idea how i'm going to overcome this. It's not that i don't have the skills, i've proven that times and times that i got the brains to pull through. But i have no motivation, no motivation to do anything whatsoever. I'm not depressed, but even eating is turning into a hassle. I don't want to go into the future, because no matter the joys that will come, they wont be able to outway the shitty things. I have no passion for anything, so i'll likely never be able to find a job that i enjoy, but i'm too prideful to pick anything that won't make me a fairly well off person. I don't know what to do. I can't stay in the past, and i don't want the future.

don't worry about motivation, mang. motivation is fleeting and fickle. discipline is what gets you through. it gets you out of bed in the morning and in to work on time. its gets you onto the treadmill to face upping the speed of your workout when you're tired as shit already. you don't really need to enjoy your job. that's why they have to pay you to do it. good luck finding interests outside of work, though

I left high school a year early a couple years ago to start Uni, mostly so I could move out of the house. I had more free time there then ever before. School was only 4 hours a day 4 days a week instead of 6 hours for 5 days. I didn't study at all though, and after my second year, last year, I skipped all my exams and finally failed out a few semesters of Academic probation. Well I guess they didn't tell me I couldn't come back specifically, but I stopped going. 6 months later I'm broke with no job (not getting government allowance for studying now) and don't know what to do. What happens after I don't pay rent for long enough? It's scary, but I'm too apathetic to care that much. Sometimes it just feels like I'm waiting to get what's coming to me and just die.
I'm the exact same with my motivation. Anything is a struggle, even playing games and taking the time to come post here. I was so worried about work but now I just want a shitty part time job so I can at least survive. That's all I want at this stage, to not having to worry about money and people anymore. I wanna pay my debt and then spend 4 days doing nothing at home.
My parents don't know I dropped out either.

Oh anon. This sounds exactly like me 2 years ago. I finished school and was set on starting uni. Moved into a new city far away from home. It was horrible. I couldnt find any friends at all at uni, and was completely overwhelmed by living on my own and going to uni on my own. Workload got more and more until it got too much and i just stopped going to uni and spent all my time in my tiny room, browsing 4chan/watching anime or playing vidya. Developed a major depression over that time and decided to get therapy 6 last summer, so i could start studying again. Didnt work. Now i had to move back in with my parents because they couldnt afford the room anymore and now i have no idea what the fuck i should do. I´ve lost all motivation to ever get a job or do something else but looking at my PC, even though i stopped having any fun doing that some time ago. The only reason why im not doing something stupid is because i dont want to worry my parents even more. Feels really bad man. I hope you make it better

I got pretty much the same during my senior year of high school. Maybe just a pre-emption of the same feelings. Was doing really well the other years, but pissed away that one, most teachers tended to just feel sorry for me and gave me some breaks, that helped, as did my already >4.0 GPA of the previous years, but I still did pretty badly and I haven't been the same since.

Im nearly 28. I'm an aspie who's always struggled with social shit. I find it overwhelming, and I was bullied throughout my school years. The weird part is, I'm a very funny guy and when I did make any friends, they've been lifelong and we have always been extremely close and loyal to each other. Even through school when I was hitting my teens I was that weird kid who had few friends. I was also a short-stack until I hit about 16 then thankfully I hit the 6-foot sweet spot. I used to be terribly self-conscious of it when I was young as it was one of the many things bullies would use to hurt me. Upon leaving school I gradually became more cynical and detached. I flitted between jobs like they were stops on a bar crawl. I joined college to "find that thing I would love", but after the fifth time I gave up. Fuck, I even managed to get through a college course then I quit uni after two years. Most of my friends have moved on so I am literally alone in my town. My parents, God bless them, are extremely supporting of me because they know how tough I find "normal life". I'm super grateful I get autismbux. It took 4 outright rejections and then 5 meetings with various assessors before I broke down and they realised that shit, maybe this guy isn't really able to function too well. I use this money to pay for my cheap shitty car and rent to my parents. The car gives me the only true sense of freedom I've ever really felt in my life. I can drive wherever I want and just experience the world in my little metal cocoon.
But despite all this, I still feel like a piece of shit who contributes nothing to anyone, because that is in reality exactly what I am. No matter what I do, I always feel like this, even whilst working. I need to find my niche soon because when my parents die off I will be right behind them (I'm inly alive now because I know they'd be terrifically upset if I died). Christ, I could be well past 60 before my mum kicks it.
