Always cancel out of the skills that lock you into place like the fire breath(ground ver.) and multi shuriken. Tornado is usually good at grouping enemies together. Skill recording is hard to fuck up really a 2nd round of your 6 highest damage non-awakening skills is good.

It's not the fact that they're slow. It's the fact that the additional hit end damage from TS mastery and higher weapon attack doesn't make up for the slow and nearly non existant combo point build up on single targets.
Sure they may be good for AOE, but it's completely lackluster on single target bosses. Not to mention the downtime on skills so you can't rotate them fluidly.

I never have an issue with it. Silver Stream and Excel Links are up often enough that it's maybe only 20-30s every 2 minutes where you don't have good CP gain, and even then it's not too bad as long as you keep your cancel game on point.

So I got bored, took the prices of a plus +12 90% ticket, and compared it to prices of other tickets to see if it would give you higher chances if you simply bought multiple smaller chance tickets. Left over gold rounded of is spent towards the next smallest ticket that can be bought, so with a 70% ticket bought in comparison to the cost of a 90% ticket, you can afford another 30% chance one.
Here the what I came up with
90=90% (obviously)
70=79%
50=82.5%
30=83% (surprisingly the most cost effective one under 90%)
10=69%(fucking garbage)

There's actually a lot of interesting and complex math to do with these tickets. For instance, only a small percentage of people actually NEED a 90% ticket. 30% of people are going to succeed on the first 30% ticket they use, and 51% by the second. Those people just saved like 100m because they weren't part of the ~6% of people who actually needed that 90% chance.
Assuming the costs double with each % increase (so 50% costs 2x 30%), you save like 15% on average just by buying in 30% denominations instead of 90% denominations.
Right now I think the 90% ticket is the best deal, then the 30%s, though, just because people are pricing 90% tickets super low.
So I know people say yakshas ghost soul suck, and go dominion, but what about 6 piecing unholy dominion and 3 peicing ghost soul?
I was kinda bored and after seeing >>137115658, I decided to look into it a little.
I don't know prices, so I tried recalculating what is 'better'.
Easiest way of checking success chance is calculating chance of failing very ticket out of x amount.
90% ticket is our start point so we are looking for fail chance <10%.
>70% ticket
2 tickets already give you less than 10% fail chance (9%), so 91% success chance.
Alternatively:
1x 70% + 2x 50%
and
1x 70% + 1x 50% + 2x 30%
give better chances as well

4 tickets gurantee higher success rate than one 90%.
Alternatively:
3x 50% + 30%
and
3x 50 + 3x 10%

7 tickets are better than one 90%/

It takes around 14-15 to get better chance than one 90%.
Of course there are many combinations you could do, but I'm sure if someone is interested he will recalculate it fasterand with less error.

There aren't too many enemies outside of despair with complete immunity to the damage status effects. The ones with extreme resistance are less of an issue because taunt now has a 5 second cooldown. The damage bonus on net is now independent of the immobilize so you don't have to worry about losing out on it.
