Inferno SRMs have ammo close to NARC/ton, so they need to be used sparingly to get an edge in a battle. They do 2Heat/sec per missile for 5 secs (so 12hps for SRM6)
Maybe a slightly shorter range with a minimum arming (don't want to burn yourself)
I also want to give them a retarded balance quirk- a rack that fires Infernos becomes hot. You can fire it on normal cool down and risk a misfire (damage/hps equal to the volley that was to be fired) like a UAC jam, or wait twice the normal cooldown for a safe refire. This prevents Inferno spam from stun locking like Flamers do since they don't generate excessive firing heat like Flamers do. Thoughts?

It's a .9 difference, which is enough to matter because SPL's have a range of 110 without the quirks a Firestarter gets. Which means you literally have to be face to face to actually do anything, on top of the fact that you can't even twist away damage because you have to hold your cursor over them to apply damage.

I never really got into fish outside of a few forays with Killis and he scaled down over the years, but I helped him set up his 200 gallon reef lately. It's coming along really nicely.
